"Credit card machine didn’t work for days, so was asked to make a wire transfer via the owner’s bank (which requires a heavy fine). Tried to pay cash instead and was yelled at by the owner. Hot water never worked, could feel the springs in the mattress, the restaurant had no options and the breakfasts got smaller each day.
