I rented a room for two nights. Hotel manager texted and called me from their personal number, asking for my ETA. I advised it may be quite late. He called and told me my room number, and which room number door to knock on to get my key since they don't have all night front desk. 2am I arrived and no one answered the door for me to get my key. The manager did not answer his personal number. VRBO also called him, and no answer. About 30 minutes later, the person from the other room arrived and gave me my key. I opened the door to find one queen bed and the light from a bathroom. The listing shows two beds from rooms not the one I was renting. It says one bedroom sleeps two, but it doesn't say a number of beds. The depiction of the room suggests two beds. I called VRBO originally about the key, and the representative had the audacity to ask me why I was late. I pay to rent the room from 11am-11am, there is no "late" and I was not advised of a check-in window. Who asks that? It's a hotel!!! I paid 6 more for two queen beds for two nights at Best Western a few miles away. Lesson learned!
