Lebanon wedding accommodations

Definitely recommend! Scenic and relaxing place. Saw deer and lots of turkeys! Only negative was hot tub unusable and lots of wasp on side deck. Thank you!

Cozy little cabin on a fishing pond

Me and my Wife stayed here for 3 days. The property is secluded and beautiful, with a fishing pond. I fished a few times and caught multiple 1-2 pound channel catfish, along with a few decent size bass, and a bunch of blue gill. Clay was very hospitable, and even directed me on where to catch fish on his pond. Overall it was a great experience and very affordable. For the price you really can't beat it.

Paradise in the Tennessee Country side

Our family (5 including 3 teenagers) really enjoyed our three night stay on the property. The property was very clean on arrival. Communication was easy and prompt with the property owner. They were even able to accommodate an early arrival. Our youngest enjoyed fishing in the stocked pond and the two oldest spent many hours mastering their pool skills. The property had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our time. We would be happy to stay in this property if we were ever back in on Tennessee again.

Comfortable Stay but Misleading Details

We recently stayed at this property, and while we were comfortable overall, there were a few discrepancies between the listing and what was actually provided. The listing mentioned a “room kitchenette,” so we brought food expecting to cook. However, there was no cooktop or sink—just a microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, and some dishes. If you’re planning to cook, the only option is the outdoor grill. We made do by heating leftovers, but cleaning dishes in the bathroom sink with a hand rag and soap wasn’t ideal. Additionally, the listing described the location as “on a lake,” but it’s actually a pond. This wasn’t a big issue for us, but it could be disappointing if you’re expecting a larger body of water. The room itself was clean, and I enjoyed the king-size bed, although my husband found it too soft for his liking. We could hear the owners and their dogs occasionally, but it wasn’t disruptive. One other thing to note is the lack of individual thermostats, which meant we couldn’t fully control the temperature in our space. Overall, we had a comfortable stay, but I would recommend that the listing be updated to more accurately reflect these details for future guests.

Absolutely no privacy

Be aware that you will have shared walls with dogs on the other side of your door trying to get to you. This was an absolutely awful time. We didn’t stay. We immediately turned around and walked out. The host is disgustingly inappropriate and hurls personal attacks. Do not stay here.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I wanted a secluded getaway so we booked this stay. A little studio of the upstairs of a cabin. There's some wildlife. Bullfrogs, turkeys, and the occasional deer or two. There are other listings on the property so you arent alone. We werent bothered by any neighbors unless it was the occasional hello. The road to get there was a little bumpy. The only things i would change would be some lighting around the pond for the night time, and the bed was just a little too high but very comfortable. We had a fantastic time otherwise.

The area is absolutely beautiful and the room is very nice. The bathroom, especially, is absolutely awesome. Instructions for getting there, where to park, and how to access the room were very clear. We were only there for a weekend, unfortunately, but it seems like it would have been a great place to stay longer. There was only one drawback, however, and it is definitely important to note. It is a studio above a cabin. I'm not sure if the rest of the cabin is for other guests or the full time residence of the property owners, but what was there for our stay was dogs. And they were not happy to hear us there. Our first night they barked throughout the night and early morning and we had a difficult time sleeping. The second night was better, however. The dogs themselves weren't really the issue, but we could hear them very clearly. Meaning, of course, anyone in the rest of the cabin can hear you very clearly. Some better sound proofing would go a long way. As it is, the room doesn't feel private at all and we were whispering the whole time. Definitely does not make for a very romantic stay. Besides that, every else was perfect, but it is a pretty major factor.

Birds and wildlife

Nice cabin with great outdoors. Pros: outdoor fire pit with generous wood supply. Sitting on the porch watching wildlife and listening to birds. Nice kitchen and 2 king size beds. Good price. Cons: the 3rd sleeping space is a queen air mattress that doesn’t fully inflate. House is best for 2 couples or 2 individuals wanting own space. Communication a bit slow and not all our concerns were resolved in a timely manner. Place is clean but not for those looking for pristine.

Nice but a few concerns

Pros: Very secluded property, would've been great for a single couple getaway. Pond was fun to fish, all fish tossed back. Views were phenomenal, wildlife all around No neighbors to bother you. Cons: Coffee pot didn't work (only made half of what you asked it to), Property mentions supplies of necessities (garbage bags were out.) Small detail but tells me the property owner or manager either didn't check or didn't care. No seating for dinner or games (two couples stayed, no table to have a meal at together or play card games at) Shared shower in master bedroom meant one couple was always in the other couples room to shower and get ready. Property was not clean. Driveway leading up to cabin is a business type of garbage grounds. Property once up to the cabin no outside tables were cleaned. Inside appeared to be but wasn't. House had a bumblebee nest/infestation somewhere near. They didn't bother you but were a nuisance. Communication with property manager was vague and slow.
