Unique home located in desirable Briggs Farm in beautiful Narragansett. We have just completed some brand new renovations, including laying new flooring and new kitchen. All 3 bathrooms just renovated and a brand new furnace! We have added a 1st floor living area open off the new kitchen with a large flat screen TV, brand new furniture and barstools to the island bar that is between the living room and the kitchen.

The new kitchen has all new stainless appliances that include a double oven, electric stove top, built-in microwave, dishwasher, double door refrigerator with water and a large double size sink. We have added a coffee bar in the dining area as well as another small bar area in the kitchen between 2 very large pantry cabinets.

The full bath on the 1st floor in the main house now has a brand new soaking tub with a shower handle, new tiling throughout, new vanity, toilet and lighting. Also this 1st floor has 2 bdrms, each with a queen size bed. The 2nd floor has 3 bdrms that include 2 king size and 1 queen size bed and a full bath with all new shiplap surrounding the bathroom and open closet, a new vanity and lighting and a large walk-in tiled shower. This floor has a large living room with lots of seating, 70" flat screen TV on the wall and we have added to this space with an addition that adds more seating including a couch that folds out to a futon and a new slider to walk out on the expansive 2nd floor deck.

The laundry room is located in the breezeway on the first floor. We have 2 sets of large capacity washer/dryers. The back yard has a custom patio with a grill, tables and chairs and a fire pit, which we include firewood.

There is a 700 square foot existing addition over the large 2-car garage with two large bedrooms, each consisting of 2 queen size beds, a full tiled bath and a living room area with hardwoods and a large flat screen TV. One of these bedrooms has a balcony deck with seating.

The lot is 14,000 square feet with a generous driveway for ample parking. Central Air/Heat on 2 zones. Pet Friendly! Short walk to Sunset Farm for fresh vegetables and fruit and fresh baked pies and to visit the farm animals. We supply plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, beach umbrellas, linens, blankets, quilts and bath and beach towels.

Take a short 20 minute drive to Historic Newport and Jamestown. T.F. Green Airport is 25 minutes away. Providence is a 30 minute drive. This home is centrally located to all beaches, shopping and the most popular restaurants. Closest Movie Theatre is less than 10 minutes away located at the South County Commons. Board the Block Island Ferry in Galilee just 2 miles away. The ferry ride on the fast ferry is only 30 minutes and on the large ferry, its about an hour. On Block Island there are many fun things to do with kids and adults. You can rent bikes, mopeds or take a taxi or even bring your own car over. Plenty of sight seeing, beaches, lighthouse tours, many restaurants, shops, bars, and horseback riding, farms, marinas, docks and the fabulous bluffs.

Absolutely beautiful

This is a beautiful home (with So much space!!) that had everything we needed. Robin is lovely to work with and the community is gorgeous. At the end of our stay, I already had my friends and family asking when we would be coming back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

2nd retal from robin

We have now rented twice from Robin, the host. This house did not dissapoint, just like the other. Very spacious,so much room for everyone and everything. Loved that we were able to bring our dogs.

Great Stay.

This was our second time renting this house and let me tell you, this year with the work that was done to it, the house was awesome! The new living room area was great. This house is definitely worth renting!

Turkey day 2024

We had 13 family members staying at the farm. We had an additional 10 folks that came over for Thanksgiving day dinner. The house was very well equipped to handle this crowd. We all enjoyed it and had a wonderful holiday!

Great location near beach

Our family gathering of 14 had a wonderful week staying in this home which is five minutes from Scarborough beach which is the best, close to fish shores, farm stands and grocery stores.

Beautiful home perfect for large parties

4 couples and 6 kids and a pet! Perfect for all of us. No fighting over bathrooms, no cramming for common areas, short drive to Narragansett town beach and close but not on major road to get to where you need to go with clear instructions and helpful information for seeing the area. Would stay here 20 times over!

Clean and enough space

The house was really clean and the a/c was left on so when we entered the house it felt good on a hot sunny day. Bedrooms and bathrooms were tidy and clean. The decor and the furniture of the house was nice and comfortable. Location is Ok, it was about 8 min drive for stores or beach.

Great house for a family gathering

There were 12 adults and 5 children. Robin went out of her way to accommodate our needs! She provided 3 pack and plays which was a huge help. The kitchen is extremely well equipped Plenty of towels for everyone! There was a slight issue and Robin responded quickly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect for a celebration

This house was amazing, the inside furnishing are top notch, and the flow of the house is perfect. Had my 50th bday party, and we have 4 teenagers therefore sleeping was great as the kids had their own section of the house. Also with just under 50 people the backyard was great for a large gathering. Lastly Robin was great, and responded to anything we needed in a matter of minutes. We will look to stay at this property again for sure.

Huge house that was located near the beaches and shopping areas. House was decorated nicely and very clean. Plenty of towels and supplies. Owner was very helpful getting us what we needed for the fire pit.

Great Getaway close to everything.

The house is large, clean and very well equipped with kitchen utensils and beach gear. It is centrally located; only five minutes from grocery store, beaches and the Block Island ferry as well as numerous restaurants. We had a wonderful stay with 13 people, ranging from two to seventy two! Robin is very responsive and helpful. We hope to return next year!

Spacious house with a great location!

A group of 9 girl friends and I came here for a long weekend and loved it. Very clean and spacious. Great location, about 30 min to downtown Newport, but many local eats and beaches near by. We went to Scarborough Beach, which was 4 minutes away. The host was so responsive and the most helpful!

Fabulous house

We had a glorious time and we loved being able to walk to the beach any old time we wanted to. We're a family who cooks in (and we have some terrific cooks), so our chefs especially appreciated the chef-quality stove and all that came with it-- a profusion of lobster crackers, tongs, pots and potholders. It really was a wonderful vacation for us!

Great Extended Family Vacation House

This is the third year we spent our family vacation here with 4 generations of family. Some separation of bedrooms and extra living space allows the little ones to watch their shows and wind down for naps and bed. Really appreciate all the wood and tile floors since we bring the family dogs as well. The central air is most definitely appreciated as is the ability to bike to Scarborough Beach. Great accommodation!

Narragansett Labor Day

Great home - beds are super comfortable. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms fully stocked. The only issue were 1) location - not close to beach and parking was impossible 2) construction on property took away the advertised screened in porch which could have been a children’s bedroom 3) carpeted kitchen??? When they do finish the house - it will be beautiful

Dream beach house

We had a wonderful few days at the house. It is well appointed with everything you need - linens, beach towels, full kitchen and bathrooms. The walk to the beach is long but very pleasant and the reward is a gorgeous beach. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, even with a large group the house feels spacious and easy to find quiet space to yourself. Plenty of parking on a beautiful residential street- the location is lovely. 5 stars across the board I would absolutely love to come back and recommend it to friends

Amazing stay!

Rented this home for an annual “friendsgiving” get-together and it was perfect for our large group. The kitchen was great for cooking a full thanksgiving meal, and the table is massive and seated us all. The amount of sleeping space was AMAZING, we were all able to spread out and the beds were extremely comfortable. The outdoor space was a massive bonus too. Everything was super clean and nice. Tons of parking space. Robin, the host, was super accommodating and communicative. My group hopes to come back some day!

Better than expected!

This house was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. So much space, and great nooks to hangout in. There is an upstairs deck that is GORGEOUS. A huge garage for storage. Kitchen is great and had everything we needed (except for a sponge and good spices). Recommend this house to anyone with a big group!

WONDERFUL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION WITH FAMILY

Briggs Farm was a wonderful place to stay for our family holiday celebration. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and accommodated our large family group. The home had all the neccessary kitchen items to make wonderful meals at home. It was also very close to the beach, to Newport and stores for every need. The owners were very responsive to our questions. We are so appreciative that they shared their beautiful home with us. Happy holidays! Thank you so much!

overall excellent. well supplied wth everything including all kitchen utensils, pots, pans,etc. linens were great and plentiful. It would have been nice to have a bigger common ara on first floor but o/w the lay out was great especially because we had several families and it was good for privacy. We also enjoyed the multiple yard games we found. Had to drive to beach. woudl have liked to be able to walk but o/w beach not to far. overall nice place

perfect for occasion

We came for my son's wedding and the location was perfect both for wedding activities and ease to shopping and beaches. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. This was the first vrbo we've stayed in where the outside grill actually worked and there was an extra propane tank available. Robin was very responsive and accommodating. The outside space was wonderful for children and the many toys were much appreciated. The only issue for us was that there is no first floor living space (both living rooms are on second floor) which makes it difficult if there is a person in party that can't do stairs.

Large house-- fantastic for kids

Robin is an excellent host and was an excellent communicator and responsive to our needs. She went above and beyond to check in with me. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and well maintained. The backyard became our dining room because the weather was favorable. The only reason I did not rate this experience at 5 stars is because the dishwasher malfunctioned and the grill was not working properly the second night. Robin and her husband were fixing them as we packed up the car.
