The Royal Penthouse 3-bedrooms with Panoramic Terrace

Discover the beauty of Napoli from this incredible 3-bedroom penthouse, located in the historic center and part of a 16th century palace, still belonging to the same princely family who built it.

If you are looking for a unique and authentic experience of history, arts, culture and literature, here is where you want to be. It’s like to live in living museum with all the latest comforts of the XXI Century.

The apartment, just renovated and restored underlining an ancient and modern contrast, showcases an authentic 16th Century wooden beam ceilings and displays significant paintings by a distinguished 20th Century Neapolitan painter.

The apartment is composed by 3 double-bedrooms, huge open living room with fully furnished kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub and the other one with shower) and a huge panoramic terrace (90 mq - 1,000 sf).

Guests will find three comfortable queen beds and two bathrooms, one featuring a relaxing bathtub and a bidet. The space stays cozy with heating and cool with AC, making it perfect for any season. An iron and hair dryer add convenience to your stay. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or getting ready for a night out, this fantastic apartment has you covered. In the 18th Century, this historical palace was the residence of the Great Saint Alfonso de Liguori (August 1st on the calendar), Doctor of the Church and Founder of the Congregation of the Very Holy Redemptor, and in that palace he started his apostolate.

YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
The Palace is in an area very well linked to everywhere (2 subways, 5 bus-lines and taxi rank) and offers many touristic attractions (Greek Hipogea of 4th century B.C.; Sacrarium of Fontanelle; Saint Gaudioso and Saint Gennaro's Catacombs; and many aristocratic palaces and important churches).

GETTING AROUND
In five minutes walk, you can reach Naples' Cathedral, with the priceless Saint Gennaro's treasure; and the National Museum of Archeology, with the finest pieces of Pompei and the wonderful Farnese's Collection.

YOUR AVAILABILITY
After your booking you will always be in contact with me, Francesco, via phone or email; while my mother, donna ‘Princess’ Paola, will welcome you and check you in upon your arrival.

She will also give you tips of what’s best to do and sightseeing around the city: our friends and guests are very enthusiast about it (please read reviews).

By appointment only, it's possible to visit the Prince's apartment, composed by several reception rooms, a huge ballroom with 18th century frescoes on the ceiling and a splendid 18th century chandelier, a very important library with 16th - 17th - 18th century books, in which rooms the princely family regularly organizes cultural events as concerts, theater exhibitions and debates.

On these occasions, and especially by night, some ghosts belonging to the family have appeared and seemed to enjoy very much to be in company… :-)

Francesco was incredibly welcoming including personal recommendations and ensuring everything was working before leaving. The apartment is GORGEOUS, the pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor patio is perfect. You will not have to worry about skipping leg day on vacation in Italy, and this apartment is no different. It’s the penthouse on the third floor, so pack lightly. The neighborhood is lively and convenient for any domestic shopping you want to do. Extremely walkable! The pizzeria downstairs is not to be missed. We loved our Napoli home!
