The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel staff were very kind and and helpful. The property was in need of some repair and was older than the pictures online showed. The location was convenient and next to CVS so we could pick up things we needed for travel.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. Staff: The staff were probably the nicest and most helpful that I've had at a hotel in a very long time, Natalia went above and beyond and made me feel like a welcome guest and encouraged me to ask questions etc anytime. Cleanliness: The room & bathroom were 99% clean. Only had a few crumbs in the dresser drawers. Everything else was very clean. I especially appreciated how clean the breakfast/coffee area was, the staff monitored that very well every day. Hotel as a whole: It is showing it's age. The staff does a great job maintaining what they have to work with. It definitely needs some updates, especially in the rooms (I had to switch rooms 2 days in due to a smoke detector going off every 20 minutes during the night). The metal lamps were corroded, the dresser was chipped/worn with bent handles, the desk chair I couldn't lean back in. The bathroom needs fresh paint but also a new tub/shower insert as it was peeling in 2 small spots. Breakfast: They rotated the eggs from scrambled to cheese omelet. They have salt/pepper/hot sauce. Meats were always pork sausage & turkey sausage. OJ was good, pancakes were mediocre. LOVE the new grind & brew coffee makers... I used them every morning and skipped the Keurig in my room. Wish they offered fresh cream... but bought my own and kept it in my room. A/C worked great. It has a couple options so I was able to set it to keep the fan on continuously during the night for white noise.

The room was large. The ac worked great. Very quiet during the night. My only complaint was with the Comcast tv channel selection. There were too many sports channels, not enough channels for evening watching. There were 2 local channels that were on the guide but were not able to be viewed. These channels were ABC and CBS so we could not watch our favorite shows. We had to watch old reruns of NCIS.

While the staff was nice, the room and property were not clean. There was dirt on the walls, the conditioner dispenser was filled with soap, the ice machine was filthy, the bath in the room had not been cleaned in what appeared to be quite a while. The side entrance, which was supposed to be locked, was unlocked and accessible throughout our weekend stay.

Terrible stay. The room smelled like urine and mold. We were unable to spend a single night here and found another hotel to stay at. We contacted management. After an initial response to apologize and seek more information from us they have refused any further communication. Do not stay here.

unlike my recent stay at Holiday Inn Express Punta Gorda, FL which was a 5 star experience, super clean, super friendly staff, quite, great all around, I was shocked at the condition of the Bonita Springs, FL location under the same name! The check-in process was interesting to say the least, I was warned the elevator was broken, given a 3rd floor room & told the $100 "parking fee" deposit would be refunded "at some point" for my inconvenience. A half naked man no shirt no shoes came up to chit chat with the check-in girl, I went to the stairwell which had an old prison theme, the room smelled like wet dogs covered in carpet spray, I was stuffed up sneezing shortly thereafter. There was 1 tiny little trash can in the bathroom. On a positive note, the cleaning ladies did an amazing job with the bedding, and the bathroom was VERY clean so left them a great tip. The carpet needs a serious shampoo or to be ripped out. There should be "no pets no smoking" rooms offered, I have and LOVE pets but the air should not smack you in the face when you walk in. The lighting was lacking with dirty yellow lamp shades. I slept a tiny bit due everyone using the stairs the prison like stairwell door was constantly slamming. I'm thankful I did not spend much time in my room. lock your cars at this one.
