Booked this 3-night stay 16 months in advance, turned up on the day and apparently the farmhouse was being used in its entirety by the promoter of the concerts that were to take place in the summer. Despite having confirmation from Expedia, Mission Estate didn't take responsibility. They claimed they had no knowledge of the booking; however other accommodation that we booked via Expedia had no issues. They explained that they had cancelled another booking for days after our stay; why they didn't just block it out so it wasn't possible to book is beyond me! They did however offer us a complimentary bottle of their sparkling wine (which we would've received had we stayed), and paid the difference on our alternative accommodation. We spoke with 3 people at Mission Estate, and not one took responsibility for this or seemed overly considered that there was a problem. It took c.2 hours to resolve, and they did offer us a complimentary snack & a coffee while we waited.
