"We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

"Perfect house for a big family get together. Lots of spaces for people to gather or just do their own thing. The highlight was undoubtedly the large swimming pool where everyone spent most of their time. Nice outdoor dining area and BBQ where we ate most of our meals. The patio at the front of the house was perfect for sitting in shade when the sun got too hot, looking out into the green rolling lawn and a beautiful redwood tree. Lots of games for the kids and the adults enjoyed the pool table...

"Beware!! Do not rent this accommodation with VRBO. This is not a legitimate listing on here. We were scammed!!! We turned up and the managers knew nothing about our booking and had never used VRBO to rent it and it already had a long standing tenant there.
