"I booked for two nights stay but had to check out next day. Because the room smells so bad the bed smells bad pillow bed cover all dirty and roaches can be seen on kitchen counter top very dirty. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointed. "
"Beyond our best expectations. Staff were amazing - they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. It was a very quiet, small boutique resort - very decent sized pool. Would absolutely staff again. "
"the Wicked Walu seafood restaurant is a must do, food is excellent and location divine. if you don’t want an organised day out local express buses stop at the top of the entrance drive on the roadside and are great value. for adults there is an adult only pool and three happy hours a day on offer"
"The location is perfect, close to shops and restaurants. We loved the atmosphere, the veranda overlooking the flowing water feature which is very relaxing, and the vegetable garden is a plus. The owner, as well as his dogs, were friendly. The owner even recommended the jetty nearby where we took a dip the following day. This property is trully a hidden gem in the Sigatoka area! Highly recommended! The only problem we have encountered was finding it on the first day. The owner should put a...

"Great resort, friendly staff, really great food options - particularly compared to other Fiji resorts I've previously stayed at! The buffet, Ivi restaurant, Sundowner and adults only cafe all had delicious food, the only food let down was the main poolside bar. A great happy hour from 4-5pm however at poolside, delicious cocktails, mocktails & smoothies, plenty of activities on site and the Talai butler service for ocean view rooms & bures was awesome! So luxurious to have daily glass of champagne and enjoy the ocean. Internet access was fast, bath towels were soft, everything you'd expect from a 5 star resort."
"The staff are extremely friendly and kind. Limited options for food but there is a shop on most nights. Its beach location is great for snorkelling and beach walks. It's a nice quiet place but old and could do with a revamp. It's good valve for money."
"A nice resort with wonderful friendly staff, we stayed for 8 days and they couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Food was in the main excellent, and the drinks options very good, cocktails from the pool bar are really nice. There were plenty of events to go to throughout the day and we really enjoyed the river tubing trip nearby. The Establishment over the road is a good alternative for a change of scenery, great food and prices there too. "
"I recently returned to Tambua Sands Resort earlier this month, my second visit, the first being 20 years ago and it was just as magical as I remembered.
The resort is small and intimate, with just 21 bures, giving it a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. I stayed in an ocean view bure, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. As a solo female traveller, I felt 100% safe at all times, both in the resort and exploring the surrounding area. The resort has a genuine “real Fiji” feel, with all local staff who make you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. Every team member introduces themselves and remembers your name, you’re never just a guest or a number here.
The food at the resort was very good, and for something special, I highly recommend taking a taxi to the Crab Shack for dinner, it’s very reasonably priced with amazing food and a great atmosphere.
What really makes Tambua Sands stand out is the people. I couldn’t possibly single out one staff member, from the front-of-house team, kitchen and bar staff, gardeners, activities and tour guides, to the security team and the amazing cleaning staff. Every single person worked together to create a truly welcoming and memorable stay.
If you’re looking for a small, authentic, and warm Fijian experience, Tambua Sands is the perfect choice. I will definitely return again.

"Great location on the beach with beautiful gardens and infinity pool. Nice size resort for couples. Front bungalows can get a bit noisy but very comfortable. Service was amazing with a few activities every day. Making contact prior to the stay was problematic however it was all fine once we arrived. There were some shops / restaurants nearby which was handy. The restaurant on site was ideal though. "
"Accommodation was excellent and reception staff we also excellent. Few staff in the Dining area were not very friendly.
Also the bathroom shower may need to be looked at as the water from the shower head was going everywhere. "
"Fantastic holiday l totally reccommend the Naviti Resort, the hospitality is outstanding such lovely staff, great Accomodation and food my coeliac daughter had plenty of options even with the buffet and they offered a gluten free menu. The all inclusive package is well worth it. "
