Newly renovated with new kitchen including cabinets and granite countertops, floors throughout, updated bathrooms, furniture and paint. Pictures to be updated next month. 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath sleeps 8. Steps from Ocean with no road to cross. Community swimming pool access with Playground for the children. Families have been returning year after year to enjoy this cottage. Peek a boo Ocean View from the outdoor deck. Beautifully appointed Family Cottage with screened in porch. Fully furnished, new appliances, does not include linens or towels. Plenty of room for your family.

Our Cottage is a quite place for you and your family enjoy the beach and all its surroundings wild life. Pretty views, beach walks, beach fishing, great surf, wild animals... Kids really love this home. We have a community pool and a small playground.

Cancellation Policies: If someone cancel the reservation and the house is re-rented, a $100 fee will be applied and you will be refunded the difference. If the house is not re-rented, a full payment will have to be made. Thank you.

Perfect location

The location is so close to the beach that you can't go wrong. The house could use a little TLC but it's worth the sacrifice for the proximity to the beach. A wonderful time for family

The rental property was very clean and well-maintained, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The location could not have been better, just steps away from the beach. The owners were incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay, making for a truly enjoyable experience.

A GOOD week at the ocean

The cabin was just as described in the information and on the VRBO account. We had a vary enjoyable week and the weather was vary good. We love the area and would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Finally a vacation!

The enclosed outdoor shower, the beach practically at the doorstep, the pool, the closeness of family - our stay was great! If I could ask for one change it would be a broom so we could keep the house sand free.

We enjoyed how close the house was to the beach! Sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee and listening to the waves was so peaceful. Plenty of room for us. Communication was prompt and over all I’m glad that I picked this cottage for our vacation. Thank you!!

Location, location, location

This property is just steps off the beach and with having an in-process potty- training toddler that was a great advantage. It has great peek-a-boo view of the ocean and sunrise from the living room. Now if a fancy, updated, aesthetically pleasing, cottage is more important then location this may not be the place for you. However,for this price and it’s location it is a great deal.

Fall OBX Trip

The house was sufficient for our needs and clean! The sound of the water was so relaxing. Beautiful view of the water, moon and sun from the deck. We definitely will stay here again. The location was great and a very very short distance to walk to the water. Be careful on the 3rd step up and 2nd Step down. Those steps is very steep and would recommend to fixing those two steps.

Geri's Place is the BOMB!

Loved, loved the location. We have been going to Geri's for the last 25 years! Have rented almost every cottage, except # 1. Loved the long driveway, sneaky cut thru to the beach, king size bed, well stocked kitchen, tall chairs on deck, color TV, bathroom off the main B room and overall cottage decor(sea creature them). Kind of disappointed in the cleanlyness, though. First of all, there is a portable toilet in the back bedroom(super gross), trash all under the beds(tissues, plastic bottles, condom wrappers), living room rug not vacuumed, sticky food stuff in pull outs in fridge, fly guts all over the kitchen window, blood on pillow. ... with that said, you might want to invest in another cleaning company. Thank you for letting us enjoy south nags head and the infamous, "Geri's Place". Warmly, Rebecca Williamson

This is our 3rd year staying here. I love the ease of access to the beach and to shops/food in town. The pool area is great, too. It's nice with 2 little ones to not have to cross the road to get to the beach.

This was our 3rd year at this cottage, however we have stayed in Geri's Place for over 15 years. We love being able to walk to the beach and being close to the pool.

Amazing place to stay, would recommend

We came up during the off-season (Master's Week in Augusta) and had an amazing time. It is far enough from everything that you're not surrounded by tourists, but also you can get to Nag's Head in 5-7 minutes. Everything is clean and it made for a great home away from home for the week. I would absolutely stay there again, especially for the price.

It was a very nice place to stay. Accommodated my husband and I very nicely. We need at least two bedrooms for when he starts snoring. The third bedroom was a plus for the suitcases. House was stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots, skillets ect. that was needed. You are not ocean front, but you can see a little of the ocean and very close to the ocean. It was on a quiet street when we stayed. The weather turned nasty, but you can't control that. Stayed 10/04 to 10/11. We will stay there again when we come back to OBX.

The property was nice but could use some upgrades that wouldn’t cost much. Fix the shower rod, newer tables in the master bedroom, provide at least one roll of TP and paper towels, garbage bags, small soaps on the sinks. The cleanliness of the bathrooms could have been better but wasn’t terrible. All in all, I would stay there again. Very close to the beach but is not right on the beach. Though is described as beach front. You can see the ocean from the deck.
