"It was a lovely stay - clean room, pretty lobby, and peaceful surroundings. Just a 7-min drive from Nafplio’s old town. Great for a comfort stay near the city."
"Staff here was great with excellent service and very friendly. Building was older but well maintained. No elevaror so getting to the second level has lots of stairs and so bringing up suitcases was a pain. Good basic breakfast and great coffee but breakfast could be improved. Small living area in rooms but very clean rooms. Close to a nice beach and taverns. "
"We loved staying here! Staff was incredibly friendly, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and a nice balcony to sit outside and see the town. Also so close to everything, including right next to the port! (No parking, but we found street parking easily!) Thanks for a great time! "

Historical sites, cafes and beaches are just a few things travellers enjoy about Nafplio City Centre. Check out Port of Nafplio or Fortress of Palamidi while you're exploring the area.
I feared Nafplio would be an over-touristy sea outlet for Athenians, but it's so much more. Very scenic and historic. The neighborhood Athena is in is upmarket and caters to well-heeled visitors, but there is plenty for the mid-market traveler, also.

Nafplio was wonderful! Beautiful old town section, lots of great restaurants and cafes, interesting things to see. Easy day trip (had rental car) to Epidavros and Mycenae one day, another day we climbed the 999 (or so) steps to the fortress.

Delightful city. Wonderful dining options, beautiful for strolls. Less hectic than Athens--made for unwinding. Next time I tour Greece, I would make Nafplio my "base". Prices also much better than Athens.

Castle above the city is a must see lovely views of the harbor in the surrounding area. It's a strenuous walk to the top from the town or you could take a bus or if you have a car drive to a location that makes it a little easier.

Cool city - loved hiking to the fortress, and walking around old town. Felt very safe.
"We are frequent visitors to Nafplion. We’ve tried several different hotels only because this one books quickly. We always return to this one. Love the location. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We had a beautiful view of the castle. Enjoyed the breakfast outdoors with the water view. "
"The staff at the property were super friendly, from the Reception to the breakfast, pool/bar and the cleaning service. Very welcoming! The property has a beautiful beach in front, which is a bit wavy at times, but the early morning swim was always calm and clear water. We would definitely revisit!"
"Great area to stay in right on the middle of Napflio with easy walking distance to everything in the area. Room was spacious and clean and staff greeted us and checked us in promptly. Bathroom could be a bit bigger and modern but still more than adequate. Would definitely stay there again.
