"Went up for a funeral and it was the perfect place to stay however we had 6 adults ranging in ages from 60’s to 93 and when we arrived we found that the “3rd bedroom “ was in the cold, damp unfinished basement. Had we known this before we probably would have stayed somewhere else. Perfect place but needs to be advertised as 2 bedroom."

"A Perfectly Relaxing Getaway Our stay at this VRBO was incredibly relaxing, a true escape! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, this is absolutely the place. We really enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and had a wonderful, quiet stay.Even though the weather wasn't ideal for the lake, we still managed to get in the water, and our 6 and 8-year-olds had a blast. The shallow depth, knee-high for at least 200 yards, made it perfect for them to play safely. A truly magical highlight was seeing a bald eagle hanging around and hunting during our stay.This place was already perfect for us, but if it had kayaks and a picnic table, it would easily be a 6 out of 5 stars! We'd love to come back."

"This is a nice cozy cabin that feels like it's in the deep woods while still being easy to access. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. It was very clean as well. There is a great fire pit sitting in the shade of the tall trees surrounding the property. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend staying here. We went to Dave's falls, which is a beautiful park recommended to us by the host. It's a short drive from the cabin. Bring a swimsuit if you go."

"The cottage was in a beautiful area of Escanaba. However, the entire upper peninsula of Michigan is beautiful. Escanaba has everything you need for a vacation. The upper peninsula has many points of interest. We really enjoyed the Pictured Rocks cruise."

"It is a beautiful place but one of the sofas was broke could not use all week. We used the ac the first night and then the rest of the week it was broke. We was confused about the day we was to leave i thought i got it untill the 27th and she said we had to be out on the 27th we were like ok sorry for the confusion and we even though 8 hours away we hurried up and get everything packed and in car headed home they camr at 12 i guess ti clean and didnt say anything to us and then came agian at 4 and finally said something and thats when we figured out we had the wrong date and with no ac and a broken sofa we couldnt use and i kept the place clean and tight and she wants to charge me extra cleaning fee and late check out when nothing was said to us earlier it was not until 4 or 5 something was said and as far as we knew we still have and was leaving sat morning at 6am but as soon as we got everything figured we packed up fast and left headed back at 630pm Friday "

"The most beautiful house in a private location surrounded by trees and water. Who could ask for more. The configuration of the house was perfect for our family with 10 adults and 2 kids. 8 bedrooms with 7 1/2 baths and 6 of those bedrooms with king beds. Absolutely amazing. And very well stocked. We had an awesome 5 days there. Thank you so much!!"
