Lovely home in nice neighborhood. Close to restaurants and especially Java Jacks coffee shop! Comfortable beds and well stocked with paper products and just about everything you might need. Always stay here when Nacogdoches.
Beautiful home just a few blocks away from Main Street. It's even lovelier in person. The back yard gazebo was a lovely spot in the evening and for a cup of coffee in the morning.
Very nice house, centrally located, well kept, beautiful yard- everything we could have asked for. The owners were great and very accommodating, great communication. Overall, we had a great time and the house was perfect. Thank you very much!
We came for our Daughter's graduation, the location was awesome as it was close to SFA and downtown area.
The backyard was great, we were able to have a small graduation gathering to celebrate with family and friends.
The house was very well kept and had everything you need.
Thank you again for making this easy!!
The property was amazingly clean, quiet, and perfect. My husband and his friends had an excellent time at the Blueberry festival, and we will be keeping an eye out for this property again in the future. The owners were also very sweet and prompt in their communications. 10/10 would rent again!
This home was perfect for our recent stay in Nac. It had everything we needed and then some! We spent a lot of time in the fantastic backyard and gazebo. Thanks, Henry and Sharon, for your hospitality!
We were in town for a wedding. It also was a family reunion of sorts. Was able to comfortably stay in walking distance to the wedding and all the festivities while providing my family with comfortable accommodations
We spent one night in this comfortable home. Lots of charm and everything we needed. It is walking distance to the best part of Nac. Week days might be quieter neighborhood than staying Saturday night like we did. We would certainly stay again when we are in the area.
Rented this for my family for a wedding reception that was downtown at The Old Tobacco Warehouse. Large house with big backyard. Owners were easy to communicate with. Safe neighborhood.
Henry and Sharon do a phenomenal job with their properties. This stay was my 1st at Hughes 2, but have stayed at the Hughes 1 property on two different occasions. Each stay was everything and more you want in a VRBO. Looking for to next time.
I booked this house for my family to come in and stay for the weekend. House is very spacious and beautiful, huge yard and gazebo in the back made for some good nights. Hosts are probably the best I’ve had yet with quick responses anytime I had a question. Seem like really nice people. I’d book again in the future for sure.
We could not have asked for a more lovely, comfortable, or convenient home. The home is in a beautiful, established neighborhood and has an immaculate lawn and a large gazebo we enjoyed beyond words. The owners are always helpful, pleasant, friendly, kind, and quickly becoming our favorite part of visiting Nacogdoches. 😊
We booked this for a long weekend with old friends. The location was perfect, as it allowed us to easily walk to a local brewery and to the charming downtown area. It was about the same distance to the university and the Old Stone Fort too.
The real treat, though, was the house itself. It was comfortable in every respect and allowed us to visit, eat together, and watch March Madness. There's a beautiful gazebo outside that was a great way to carry the conversation outside to enjoy the gorgeous weather. In all, the place was exactly what we wanted, and we found Sharon and Henry to be welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend.
I've stayed in a lot of VRBO homes, and this is by far the best house ever. It was the cleanest, most well appointed, most comfortable house. We will never stay in a hotel in Nacogdoches again. The kitchen was completely stocked with every type of pot, pan, dishes, utensils, etc. We like to stay in VRBO's so that we can make our own meals, but often, the kitchens don't have much in them. Not so at this house. It was absolutely perfect. A lot of people try to list one negative thing when they are leaving a review, but I will not do that here. To the owners, just keep doing what you are doing. We will keep staying there.
