The home was very clean and comfortable. The property is amazing! It was so nice to be right on the river. The game room was a lot of fun too. Hosts were great to deal with.
Stayed here for an elk hunting trip i had and was perfect. My teen boys and friend of mine had such a great time. The game room was really fun in the evenings to hang out and play some pool.
Everything was user friendly and such beautiful surroundings outdoors.
Would love to stay here again.
Also got my elk so that was a bonus.
Good location, comfortable and clean. Newly build or remodeled. Adequate for our family of 3. The game room and creek access / yard were great extras - and no one was staying at the other cabin. Host was responsive, and internet worked well.
This place is perfect! Cabin is great and the games in the garage are a sweet bonus. Great location for skiing at White Pass.

Stayed at Roy’s Retreat with my husband, kids, and sister to do some sledding over the weekend. The cabin is nicely updated and cozy - perfect for our stay! The game room was a great place to hang out after the kids went to bed as well.
This property was simply wonderful. Very relaxing atmosphere. Extremely clean. Owners were responsive and communicative. Not too far from town but far enough to feel relaxed. Overall a great experience.
Stacy and Heathers’s place was very nice. My Wife and two kids stayed for 2 nights and was perfect!
My Family stayed for a weekend and went skiing at white pass, the property is located very close to the pass and right on the river. It was a nice get away and will be going back in the summer. I have already recommended this property to family and friends after our trip! Very cozy, clean, and modern, couldn’t have expected anything better. Can’t wait to go back in the summer time!
We rented both cabins for the weekend. They are right next to each other which is very convenient for larger groups. The cabins were very well kept and clean. The gas fireplaces were a huge lifesaver when we experienced a rare storm where the power went out. The property is very beautiful and you feel secluded even though you’re only 15 minutes from the town. The only thing to note is the rec room could use a little TLC. I loved the addition of board games and stocked seasoning within the cabins and the host was very accommodating and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again and maybe try some skiing next time!
We absolutely loved Roy's Retreat!!! My wife and I used it as our base of adventures in the area. We spent lots of time sitting by the fire pit next to the river. Just beautiful!!
The hosts were super responsive to any question we had, and the cabin is so cozy and clean. I would love to plan a trip back in the winter some time.
We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the area!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roy’s Retreat and will be back in Winter and looking forward to a possible Summer visit too! Convenient location for White Pass. Heather and Stacy were very attentive and accommodating. The cabin is cozy was completely comfortable. Love the decor! We had fun in the game room too. Perfect place for our stay. Highly recommend!
We were looking for a comfy place to get away together as a family. The house was comfortable, clean, very nicely put together which made the accommodations pleasant and comfortable. The game room was a total win for our teens. The proximity to mountain adventures (lake, hikes, drives) was perfect for our family. Overall, your place fit the bill and we were very pleased to be there!

We had a nice stay. The pictures with wide angle lenses don’t help. A little disappointed with the layout of property. Did not know it was multiple rentals on the property. The kitchen is least stocked I have ever seen in a rental. Also there is an obvious mold issue in the bathroom. You can smell it. Thanks for the half roll of paper towels.
First, what an amazing cabin near the White Pass ski area. I believe it’s only a little over 20 miles to the resort. This is one of the cleaniest VRBO’s I have a ever stayed in. Also it would be super accommodating to friends/family taking a ski trip get-away. I am coming from the Seattle area and this was impressive for the value. The best part is since your half way to White Pass you can get some extra rest.
Second, Heather and Stacy were Johnny on the spot and any time I needed a code or anything around the cabin via vrbo, they instaneously pointed me in the right direction. I will definitely be coming back to this cabin or shall I say home away from home.
Thanks Again,
Cameron
I needed a cabin last minute and Heather accommodated me on short notice. Heather responded quickly and was extremely pleasant. We arrived at the cabin and were warmly greeted with a sign welcoming my family. I had teenagers with me who appreciated the gesture so much they took a photo with the greeting sign and posted it! The cabin is newly remodeled, so it was extremely clean. They did a wonderful job decorating, making us feel like we were at home. The cabin was supplied with all needed essentials. There was plenty of room for the four of us. We could have easily brought two more people, and still been comfortable. I loved the open concept in the cabin. We had plans to ski at White Pass the next day. It was a quick, easy trip to the resort. I am looking forward to coming back again this winter, and in the summer to enjoy the river!
