Great house! Property needs attention! So much possibility to be very quant! River trail could be made more accessible. Bag of garbage on the porch when we arrived! But overall, for the price, it is a fun little location!

It’s like getting to stay at my parent’s property. It feels like a home. The kitchen worked well and was clean. We watched Netflix at night. The kids iPads worked. The river was close enough for the toddler to walk to. 10 out of 10. Would stay here again.

A good place to get away from the noise of the city. The surrounding area is surrounded by beautiful mountains. It has a large patio in case you want to camp with your family. Nestor always responds quickly when you have questions or need help with something. I highly recommend it.

Just what we needed!

Flew in for a wedding at a nearby homestead and stayed here so we wouldn't need to pack camping gear. Nestor was great, very communicative, and made the process simple!

Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and the house was nice. We did have to get used to the "off the grid" experience with having to rely on various battery packs throughout the house to run all the appliances. And having to run a generator way outside in the back of the property to get water. The road to the property is also a bit to be desired as it is long and very rugged.

I was not told it was off the grid until i got the itinerary and i have the worse kind of MS, and all his off grid is too small to run that size of a place efficiently. By Saturday morning i couldnt function. So we packed up and left. I couldnt risk staying there and loosing all mobility. Sorry it didnt work out.Judy Hays.

Off grid privacy

Host Nester is gracious and was available to respond to questions quickly. The place needs a little TLC but experiencing off grid living was an adventure. It helps to have some experience in solar, batteries and generators. Good for unplugging, privacy, and enjoying nature. We saw Lewis Woodpecker, turkeys, quail and more. Our kitties loved basking in the sunlit windows but the sticky bug pads are like magnets to their fur! We were able to capture some amazing galaxies thru backyard astrophotography and enjoy a lovely fire pit. Come with an open mind and enjoy the moment.
