"This is the absolute BEST place to stay when going to visit Volcano National Park, especially where eruptions are currently. Very clean and much attention to detail is everywhere you look. Our host, Susan, was so nice and accommodating. The morning breakfast she prepared was delicious, fresh, and different each morning. We highly recommend and hope to visit again soon. Mahalo Susan."

"Carl and Elma were fantastic hosts ... again, having stayed here in same room 3 years earlier. The three rooms on street level where you park with a common lobby room, with a day room for those who need to stow stuff on a checkout day, There is a great breakfast and coffee on the upper floor large balcony overlooking a naturalized area with wild pigs, cows, chickens, tree frogs, birds, and a wonderful view of the ocean. It is a unique place to stay in Hawaii and in an area that we find most interesting near the snorkeling sites and restaurants of Captain Cook. Good value."

"We weren't able to check in during the listed check-in times, but Tasha was able to accommodate us. After discovering all the restaurants in town were shut down before our arrival, it was a relief to find a couple snacks and fruits in a bowl waiting for us on arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The obly opportunity for improvement would bebetter signage feom the road. "
