"Based on what I paid which was close to $150 a night I would have expected more modern room and a better breakfast buffet but otherwise the place was clean with friendly staff and located right on the beach. The step over from the tub shower to the floor is non-standard height (higher than normal) so be prepared if you have shorter legs or mobility issues. "

"This is a unique experience. It’s truly a beautiful place. Perhaps 8-10 other guests while we were there. We only spent time in the room to sleep. When we weren’t out on excursions we were sitting at the beautiful infinity pool with the most incredible view. Staff are super genuine and kind though a little young and inexperienced. "This is our 4th time in this hotel, but last time was several years ago so there are many improvements- the rooms has been modernised, new restaurant menu, new area with swimming pool, a gym and Thai boxing added, and a spa. But the main character of the property is maintained- being a very relaxed, beautiful seaside hotel. All staff are extremely helpful and friendly too, no ask too big. We will be back again soon, thank you xx"

"What a lovely place to stay. Such a warm and friendly welcome when i arrived. The hut that i stayed in was absolutely perfect and beautifully furnished, had everything i needed plus more. When i leave the hut i got a real feeling of being in the jungle. When i asked at reception how far the nearest shop was, the lady straight away offered me a lift in her car which was really nice even though it wasnt that far.
