"I enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was clean. Hotel is pretty old but well maintained, their garden is beautiful and just amazing! Lots of veggies, flowers and they use it for cooking at the restaurant. Highly recommend. Will stay there again. View from the patio of my room."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Check-in was incredibly easy, and the host was amazing—welcoming, responsive, and clearly thoughtful about making guests feel at home.The view was incredible. I loved sitting on the front porch in the morning with a cup of coffee, looking out at the water. The house has what I would call wonderful 1950s charm—it feels like stepping back in time in the best possible way, with a cozy, nostalgic feel that made the stay even more special.I was also traveling with a very active little Houdini, so I really appreciated that the road separates the house from the water. It gave me some extra peace of mind. He absolutely loved the toys that were there, and the bathtub was perfect for him.And one of the biggest surprises: we had the best night’s sleep we have had in forever. The house was comfortable, peaceful, and exactly what we needed.This was such a charming place to stay, with a beautiful view and a wonderful host. I would absolutely stay here again."

"It was a great place to stay. Two bedrooms with ample closet space to hang clothes. Great bathroom/shower and access to many towels, pillows, comfortable couch and chairs, clean kitchen. Our frustration was that we had a problem locking the door when we left and had trouble working through VRBO. There is a simple solution: just explain that you need to a) push Schlage,b) turn the knob right but most importantly, use the door handle to just move the door slightly in and out as you turn the knob so you find the sweet spot where the bolt can cross into the frame."
Marrowstone Island Home: 20 Mins to Port Townsend!

"….. but for the BATS, it was a very nice experience! Fantastic views and a great setting among the trees of Marrowstone Island. Close to great state parks and the quaint town of Port Townsend, and extremely pet-friendly. Some problems with communications with the host, but it’s in a remote area with sketchy cell service so not too surprising. Very clean and well-appointed as well. The only negative (which was kind of a biggie) was the bats that seemed to have the run of the place on our last two nights. Thought we’d finally run (or flown) them out of the house one night, but they returned the next night and drove us to seek cover in one of the bedrooms. Not sure how they got in, or are getting in, but they’re a nuisance and a potential health hazard. We left early on the morning of our departure with one of the bats hugging one of the interior walls outside a bedroom. We notified the host about the bats, but got no response."
