Great Hotel. Staff was amazing we had to relocate to this hotel after checking into the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The change is hotels made our trip to Myrtle beach so much more enjoyable. The pool and short walk to the beach was a big hit for the family. Perfectly located to most attraction. The rooms have been recently renovated which was a great surprise. In the event my family and I make the trip to Myrtle beach again we would be staying here again.

We were in a beachfront room the staff was absolutely amazing particularly a kind gentleman named Fleetwood who was extremely helpful with our luggage advice for restaurants and other local tips. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The coffee in the lobby was very good. Had some difficulty with the coffee maker in the room couldn’t quite figure out the pods

The Shelby is a beautiful and spotless motel! The staff were all excellent! Our room was cleaned everyday! The view from our balcony of the beach was excellent!The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because their was no microwave oven in our room.

The room was very clean. The staff was extremely cordial and helpful. If there is one thing I would change, it would be adding a hot tub to the property. I thought there was one, but when I asked they said no. I should have looked at property web site more closely. But, other than that, the stay was perfect.
