We enjoyed our stay here over Thanksgiving week. The location is amazing and the views from the deck could not be better!
However, when we checked in, we discovered that the electrical outlets didn't work in any of the 3 bathrooms. I contacted our host that afternoon and she was unable to get someone there for a couple of days (which was somewhat understandable, since Thanksgiving was the day after our arrival).
When the handyman showed up, he fixed the issue after an hour. Unfortunately, this took me from the lunch we were eating as a family because he needed me to help test outlets in the other rooms, etc. I also needed to clean up the drywall dust and wire cuttings, etc. from our sink when he was done.
In addition, the icemaker was not working and the handyman looked at it and told me that the refrigerator needs a new solenoid for it to work. He said he could not fix it. Our host didn't respond about this.
None of these are huge issues; however, the reason I rated this at 3 stars was because we paid top-dollar for this property (almost 3 times the next week's rate), probably because it was Thanksgiving week. Paying that sort of fee, I did not expect to have to spend time with these sort of things.
Unfortunately, the host did not respond to my requests to consider giving us a discount of any kind. Her unresponsiveness was my biggest issue. In addition, the condo could use a coat of paint and the building seems out of date. But other than that, it was great.
