First time family vaca

Perfect family beach vacation

Perfect Vacation

The condo was absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for our group. It was the shortest walk to the beach we have had and the beach was clean. The lazy river, pool, and hot tubs were clean and fun to enjoy as well. Perfect location as well. We really enjoyed our time there!

Great friends get away

Amazing unit

My family and I stayed here and we had an amazing time and beautiful oceanfront view from the balcony . Unit was described as pictured , clean and easy to check in and checkout . Close to restaurant, attractions , shopping and more. Love how unit was right on the beach and easy to get to for my in laws who didnt have to walk far . Will definitely come and stay again

Great family stay

We had a great time staying in Myrtle Beach. Tons of space for our family, beautiful beach views, and good location. Needed to drive to just about anywhere, but quiet area and the beaches were not crowded. Only complaint would be that the beds were not comfortable to sleep on, but it is a vacation rental so we understand. The lobby also leaves a lot to be desired, but the condo itself was beautiful and exactly as pictured.

Magnificent Getaway!

The condominium was absolutely beautiful! It was spacious and clean. We loved everything especially the balcony! The indoor pool and hot tub were not open, but we still had a great time. We did not have any issues at all! Hopefully, in the future , we will visit again!

Excellent Stay

This location was an amazing choice for our family with a great view! Most places we’ve stayed one kid always had to sleep on the couch! This time they got their own room with their own bathroom!! Short walk to the beach. Also had a nice pool area with a lazy river!! Good location!! Not right in the hustle and bustle but only a short drive to where all the festivities are!!

Great spot

This unit is a 10/10 . Clean , well provisioned and decorated, and in a great location. We would definitely return . We were a bit disappointed that none of the pools or the lazy river were heated while we were there. . We did spend time in the hot tubs and the ocean though .

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was immaculate. My family fell head over heels in love with this place. The Master shower needs some attention but besides that this place is outstanding. You can watch the sunrise every morning as well. Place is clean and has enough room for everyone. I would definitely book here again.

Location was wonderful, views great, unit spacious. TLC of the unit was not good. there was trash in kitchen can and some thing not clean needs more closer inspection before renting, update or repair refrigerator larger tv in guess rooms

South Wind

Property was as listed. Kitchen was smallish but well equipped. Bedrooms were a nice size, living room/ dining was spacious relative to most others. We had 5 adults and didn’t feel cramped at all. Only negative was the master shower. It had mold in corners and by the shower door so couldn’t give 5 stars.

Lovely week!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful! We noticed a lack of quality wine glasses that we discovered while entertaining. Unfortunately our guests had to bring their own. This was embarrassing. Also our 85 year old mother stayed in the primary bedroom but found showering difficult because there were no grab bars in the shower. You may also want to upgrade the toilets to the higher seat which would be easier to use for older and taller guests. We loved having coffee on the balcony each morning and the weather was fantastic!

Lived up to our expectations!

Traveling to Myrtle Beach with my husband, mom and two sisters for my sons wedding, so lots of input when it came to picking a place to stay! Both of my sisters only request was that it was clean as in really 10 star clean! But we also needed enough room - the beach view was a bonus but was on our dream list. Such a great place! Plenty of room, did not feel on top of each other, great location (I am a frequent visitor to MB as most of my children and grandchildren live there - so know location is not always what you are wanting) but this was ideal and surrounded by beautiful properties. We were 3 minutes from the wedding venue and not far from North Myrtle and Barefoot landing - the prenuptial location. Beautiful view of the ocean - bonus of view (and sound) of the ocean from the master suite! And yes - so very clean!! Can't say enough - it was perfect! Thank you:)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit has lots of room, but the more you look, the more you find. Fixture hanging off the wall in the master bathroom but fixed quickly after being reported. Dining room chairs loose and wobbly. Refrigerator door did not work as manufacturer intended. Chandeliers in dining area not cleaned. TVs smaller than would have liked. Guest bathroom tub was clogged and slow draining. Overall, it was a nice place with an exceptional view.

Fourth Time Still a Charm!

Great balcony with a great view. The property is awesome with all the pools and hot tubs available to those staying here. The property management company is incredibly easy to deal with and as accommodating as they could possibly be. The location is perfect -- central to so many activities yet in a quiet "neighborhood." And the real proof of our delight with this rental is again, that we keep reserving the same unit every year now since 2021.

Another Fantastic Week at South Wind

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has faithfully stayed at South Wind for several years now, and this past week in Unit 1006 has ensured that we will not be going anywhere else anytime soon. The condo was remarkably clean, with plenty of room for our group of six and all of our belongings. There were no issues whatsoever, and never any reasons to contact the owner/staff. It was the first time we'd stayed as high as the 10th floor, and we were pleasantly surprised by the short elevator waits/rides. We stay at South Wind for the quality and cleanliness of the resort, wonderful beachfront and pools, and proximity to great restaurants. We would absolutely stay in Unit 1006 again, and recommend it to others.
