North Shore Oceanfront Resort Hotel with Waterpark

"Stayed the weekend of 9/11-9/13 2026. 3rd floor room with a beachfront view. Check in was a breeze and received a nice coupon booklet for some attractions. Upon arrival I instantly fell in love with the carpet on the walkways around the entrance and up at the rooms, I feel like it’s a nice safety thing to have with all the water. I loved the room.. except for the floors and the bathroom being a little squished. The floor never seemed to fully dry, even overnight. The room itself was VERY spacious and worked perfectly for us. All the advertised extras are attached to Sand Dunes resort but if you cut through a little walkway you’re right there at them! Really enjoyed the waterpark, hot tub and mini golf, the arcade could use a little more. First night we ate at the Beachfront restaurant at the hotel, not up to my standards. The bar at this restaurant is phenomenal however. I do recommend taking the extra short walk down to River City Cafe (we had dinner there the second night) WELL worth the dinner price compared to the Beachfront. The cleanliness rating came from our hallways, the ladies staying next to us on the left had towels outside of their room all weekend, the nice couple to the right of us had a lollipop stuck to the carpet outside their door for a day and a half. Overall we will probably book here again. The convenience of everything is pretty unbeatable."
