"First time to Savannah and so glad we stayed at the Planters Inn. The daily wine and cheese, with awesome pianist, were a nice touch. Lots of folks say this place is haunted and I will add that we did have unusual activity each night and in the morning: the hollow sound of small footsteps running around above us, even though no children were staying at the hotel. Made it memorable and something to talk about with another couple over a glass of wine, anyway!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this property, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness. Unlike many rentals, there was no overpowering "rental deodorant" smell—just a fresh, welcoming ambiance.The spacious kitchen was a dream come true. It offered plenty of room for our entire family to gather, making it the perfect spot for cooking and enjoying meals together. We loved that there was an open feel connecting the kitchen to the sitting and living areas, which made family bonding effortless. With 12 of us, including our kids, their spouses, and our grandchildren, it was crucial for everyone to have comfortable sleeping accommodations, and this property delivered. Every adult had their own private path to relax, and we felt right at home.Having the private pool was a highlight for the little ones, who swam every day! Even though the property is nestled in Midtown, it felt wonderfully secluded. It was just a quick 35-minute drive to Tybee Beach and about an hour and a half to St. Simons, making our beach days both easy and incredibly enjoyable.We hosted game nights that brought the family together and cozy movie nights were a breeze, thanks to the abundance of extra blankets available. One of our favorite days was spent cooking out, with everyone contributing a special side dish—there was more than enough room for everyone in the kitchen to pitch in.All in all, our stay was nothing short of perfect. We all had a blast, making unforgettable memories that we will cherish for years. If you're looking for a spacious, clean, and family-friendly getaway, look no further! You won’t regret it!"
