"Property needs some tlc. Reception staff is great but not the same at the bar and restaurant."

"There are ants in wardrobe, coffee area, toilet... The stuff told us to spray insect repellent (inside the room) and kept the rubbish bin clear, but no housekeeping (to clear the bin) till at least 3pm the next day. Room access card not working after breakfast (before 9am) on the last day, and we were not the only room has this problem. Luggage storage after check-out is just leaving our bags at the front of the hotel entrance. We understand we are in Uluru, but for a 5 stars hotel, I would expect better pest control, so that we don't need to throw food scrap and packages in the public rubbish bin near the pool."

"Underwhelming for the price of this hotel. I know that it's expensive to run things in such a rural location but when you're paying more than 200 USD/night there's certain things you expect to be done right. The bathrooms were very dated with very low water pressure in the shower. The room is alright but small and the bedding could be improved. The air conditioner is also extremely loud especially in my room. The condition of the hotel was clean but fairly rundown and had the vibe of a cheap motel rather than a 200+ dollar hotel. Other simple things like the quality of the toiletries provided could also be better and would have made it feel closer to the class of hotels the price makes you expect. Staff were all very friendly and helpful but if you have an issue past 5pm you have to walk 5-10 minutes to a neighboring hotel for a reception that's open. Location is great being right in the town square and close to the grocery store however you again have to walk to the sister hotel if you're being picked up for a tour or bus. Not a huge deal to me but something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Overall, it was fine but don't expect anywhere near the quality that you might be expecting given the price. (I also would personally consider this closer to a 3 star hotel rather than the 3.5 that Expedia says it is.)"
