We had an amazing stay with my family. There were 8 of us ranging from 1 to 70 and everyone had extremely positive feedback. It was clean, comfortable and a great location. We walked to the playground and beach. It’s a short drive to lots of nice restaurants. The amenities for young kids and beach goers was a big highlight. We’re planning for an annual family weekend and will definitely rent here again!

We booked this property for a trip with our extended family. It was great for our group which included 2 toddlers and an infant. The included ammenities were a hit with the kids and made going to the beach enjoyable. The owners were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Fully recommend this property.

Awesome Muskegon Vacation

Matt & Lisa were great host and their home location, amenities, family spaces worked out great for my whole family. Enjoyed our stay, and would definitely keep this on our return vacation spot.

One amazing house and awesome hosts

This was one of the nicest properties I have ever stayed in. Massive home, totally equipped and in great shape. The property was neat and tidy and the patio was perfect. What a great neighborhood! We are hoping to be back next year!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the opportunity to take out the bikes for a ride and play bean bag toss. The rooms were spacious, and the sleeping arrangements were ideal with 4 bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked to meet our needs, and seating was sufficient for dinner or having a late-night glass of wine after the kids went to bed. I love the neighborhood and the ability to take a quiet walk along the beach in the mornings. Having multiple playgrounds within walking distance is a big plus for us with the kids.The hosts were communicative and available, but everything was so well set up that we did not need to reach out during our stay. Would highly recommend to any family seeking accommodations in the area!

we loved staying at this property. very nice and clean. they had a lot in the kitchen and even had games and puzzles. very close to the beach and the bikes were fun to ride. they are very responsive and helpful! we loved the area and the house!

Wonderful stay - perfect for families!

The location of the property is perfect! Really appreciated all of the yard games, beach toys, baby items, etc that were provided. Lisa was really responsive to the few questions we had. Overall, a great experience!

Simply Amazing, no problems

Lisa and Matt are great hosts, always communicating and available, they ensured we had a great stay and we appreciate them for that! The property is beautiful, with plenty of space for a large family or group, close to the beach and convenient to get to everywhere we needed during our stay. Great location, house and hosts!

The house is well appointed and in a great location. From the house it is a very short walk (10 min max) to a not crowded, and beautiful public Lake MI beach. The house itself had everything you would need for a day at the beach and an evening grill afterward. It comfortably fit my extended family. And last but certainly not least, our hosts were accessible and responsive to any questions or needs. It was a great place to stay!

4th of July Weekend

Our family had the pleasure of staying at the Beachwood-Escape over 4th of July weekend. Lisa is a super star host. Her house is immaculate and has all the comforts of your own home. We loved the bikes and the 5 minute walk to the beach. Plus the park was within 3 minutes of her house. A perfect home for any family!

Child friendly stay

House was clean and had everything listed we needed. We really appreciated the use of the grill, yard toys, bikes and beach items. We had great weather to rode bikes on the bike path, go to the beach, and visit the nearby park. Thanks for sharing your house and making it a great experience!

Blown away by this stay!!

My family (grandparents, 2 adults, and 2 kids 5 and under) stayed here for a week in the summer. We had the best time at this stay and the house was a huge part of that. The house was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the back yard that the kids basically lived in when they weren’t at the nearby playground or the beach. The house has a great location on a quiet street near the beach. Lisa, the host, was a great communicator and gave us tons of suggestions for things to do and places to check out. We went to Lewis farm on her recommendation and loved it!

Wonderful house in Muskegon

We loved the house! It had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. It was a short walk from Pere Marquette Park and the famous Muskegon sand dunes. It was right near the bike path, which we used to ride to North Muskegon. We used the fire pit to relax outside. We used the large gas grill. The house was clean and well furnished. We hope to come back again next summer and would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous VRBO so close to the beach!

This was a fabulous property and a wonderful long weekend away. We had our family of four plus a set of grandparents with us for the weekend, and this property was great for that - the master suite was on the opposite side of the house from the rest of the bedrooms, so the grandparents could have their own space and bathroom while we still had a king size bed and the hallway with the kiddos bedrooms all in one place too. The location close to the beach is perfect, and the hosts could not have been nicer or easier to communicate with. The house has all you need to have a nice day at the beach, and is so well appointed, clean, comfortable, etc. Really so nice - we want to come back! Great stay.

Wonderful sisters' trip location!

This home is the best rental we have found for our yearly sisters' trip! The location is ideal and the home was equipped beyond our expectations. Lisa was such a welcoming and gracious host. Late on a Saturday afternoon, after checking in with us by text message, we asked about borrowing a pan, and she brought one over promptly, eliminating the need for us to go out and buy one. Just one of the many little extras! I hope this home is available when we are back in the area!

Perfect in all ways

If I could give this property 6 stars, I would! Beautifully updated and decorated, this house had all the personal touches that made us feel right at home. My college friends and I enjoyed our time together with plenty of space for almost all of us to have our own bedroom, yet it still managed to feel very cozy. We enjoyed a walk on the beach (very close) and enjoyed the fire pit in the private backyard. I highly recommend this property. I know a few of us plan to return.

Perfection in Muskegon

Wow! Lisa has truly thought of everything to turn this vacation rental in to a home for visitors. The home is perfectly maintained and feels warm and welcoming. The guest binder has all information laid out in an easy to understand way and gives you a great starting point for exploring the area. She answered any questions we had promptly and even made sure to go above and beyond when I was concerned about the lack of recycling. The furniture is all comfortable. The decor is lovely. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to make home cooked meals during your stay. We also loved that there was a wide selection of bikes to choose from along with indoor and outdoor games to play. I confidently give this property and its hosts a 5 star rating.

First Family Vacation

To say we enjoyed our stay was an understatement! We took our first family vacation and brought my parents along for the ride. We all had so much fun! The neighborhood was the best fit for my young children to enjoy the park and have fun in the backyard with the games provided. Made lots of core memories with my family at the beach for the kid's first time at a beach and got lots of sun. We enjoyed the live band at The Deck for dinner one the nights and my oldest got a guitar pick from the lead singer!!! Overall it was literally the best place for our first vacation and we can't wait to come back next year (or later this year!!). The owners were a delight and very responsive when we needed something or when they provided some fun activities for us to do. I can't wait to book again soon! Thank you deeply for such a wonderful time! xo
