"This is a lovely hotel with the best breakfast in Portugal! Literally! Their restaurant Ponte Velha is also superb and very reasonably priced, the change the menu regularly monthly if not weekly which is a great. In my top 10 hotels in Portugal!"

"It was a cute little apartment. Type unit was a huge balcony overlooking the river, which was beautiful. Had a very well kept kitchenette, a little living room area, bedroom, and bathroom. It was well decorated and a very pleasant surprise.

"We chose this hotel as unlike most, it had a pool - infact 2, 1 inside and 1 outside. We had a great room - large with seating area and a view of both the pool and the castle. Superking bed which was very comfortable. Disapponted no iron available. It is, by comparison to others in Tomar, a large hotel and whilst its used by coach tours its quiet whilst being in easy walking distance of the beautiful town and its attractions. There's a good choice at breakfast although the coffee machines take ages. The hotel don't seem to promote the restaurant for evening meal so we didn't try it. Would stay again

"After not such so good start when management did not return my message requesting check in instructions, I managed to contact a helpful young man who met me at the premises and showed me our room. We stayed in a deluxe double room with balcony. The property has been beautifully renovated and our room was modern and stylish with a lovely comfortable bed. The balcony was beautifully traditional, with gorgeous views looking over the roof tops towards the Praca and the Convento de Cristo which was illuminated after dark. We would definitely stay here again if in the vicinity."
