"First, the good: This is a beautiful, historic old hotel with a lot of character. Although obviously past its glory days, it is very clean and the facilities are in generally good condition. A lot of heavy wood and historic photos showing the hotel's past involvement in Dominican history. The room I stayed in was of decent size and no problems with the AC or hot water.
