"Very comfortable room (the ones with a balcony in the range 31-36 ish). Warm (it was end Nov), attractive, carpeted (always a bonus), beautiful sunrise view. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits).
Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. This is a really good travelling stopover choice.
The restaurant is consistently very good. Menu choices are seasonally varied and of a high standard. Presentation is excellent, flavours well balanced and varied. Desserts are always amazing. The waiting staff are professional and attentive. This restaurant punches well above its weight. Always have Champagne with your meal. "
House 2 to 6 people in very beautiful park with private heated pool
8/10 Good
"If you want an authentic champagne experience this accommodation is in the perfect location. This was our second stay here so this should speak for itself. Easy walking distance to the small town of Bar sur Aube where you have ample places to buy bread and meats etc. also close by are a number of champagne houses offering tastings and again walking distance. The accommodation had a pool which was very welcome given the hot weather. Only slight disappointment was the absence of a barbecue. Would have been ideal. Other than that the accommodation was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. This is not a gripe but the shower needs fixing!"
"We stayed here for 1 night only as a stop over but found the property to be absolutely incredible. The location is just mesmerising with various champagne makers around the village. The B&B itself is just gorgeous. We stayed in a family apartment containing 2 separate rooms which was perfect for 4 of us. The lady owner was fantastic and despite none of us being able to speak French she was patient and helped with everything we needed. She could not have been more accommodating. On our arrival we were offered various complimentary hot drinks and we were also allowed to use the dining room for some food we had with us.
The breakfast was great with various options for everyone.
All in all we loved the experience and we only wished we could have stayed a bit longer."
