"The Stricklin Hotel is a beautiful property. The staff were very exceptional and everything was clean. This Hotel is conveniently located and surrounded by a variety of yummy foods and entertainment. "I know I probably got on the hosts nerves because I messaged 100 times with questions. I messed up our reservation and she helped out with that. She was very patient and kind. She was very quick to respond. Entry was easy, WiFi was good. The property was beautiful! Exactly as pictured, but so much better in person. Very clean, washer and dry worked great, ac was great! My husband and I never had issues with hot water. That was great! We just wanted to get away for a couple days. Relax and fish. This trip was PERFECT! For those curious, we caught, brim, large mouth bass, stripe bass, drum, catfish and gar. I highly recommend and will definitely book again!!"

"We enjoyed our time. Just be sure to bring spider spray and something to kill gnats. You are outside and by the water. The deck had lots of spiders and the gnats swarmed around the back porch. A little spray took care of it. We have an extremely large truck and parking it on a hill was a bit scary. Every morning we wondered if it was going to end up in the water. We refuse to hook up to anybody else’s personal Wi-Fi, so of course we had to drive elsewhere to be able to get on the Internet, because we had no cell service. But for a long weekend getaway for just me and my husband, it was all we needed."

"We came in town for a baseball tournament, and never had stayed in Muscle Shoals. What a treat!! The property location was perfect. It’s close to everything but tucked away in a great spot. The house had everything you could need and more. Our family is definitely hoping to return next summer."

"The accomodations were great. Place is beautiful, nice deck overlooking the lake, nice dock area for fishing or swimming from, and had a fire pit we enjoyed for S’mores. I didn’t need to call manager, but he communicated via text I sent . The a/c made a noise when it came on. Might need to check on it. It was a wonderful Place to relax. We will definitely consider it again."
