The hotel is located in a safe area. The hotel condition is definitely showing its age, as it needs an update. The landscaping and lawn maintenance seems in need of attention. We would stay here again, due to ease and accessibility, but recommend the owner/management address some of the aforementioned.

Didn't eat breakfast, as there was a soccer tournament and the lobby was full. I didn't try the gym. I visited cause my sister passed away and I was there for her funeral. I will definetly stay there again when I am in Muscatine again. The only thing I didn't like was the elevator was scary. It made a weird sound when going up/down. Otherwise the hotel was clean, beautiful room. The bed was a little hard but wasn't terrible. Check in was easy, the front desk employee was very nice and sympathetic. Her kindness is what makes me want to come stay there when I come back into town. Housekeepers do a wonderful job of making sure the room is clean, I didn't see one speck of dust.

Amazing Comfort

The room was amazing. It had an awesome layout and everything was looked spotless. The bed was super comfortable and allowed to get some really great sleep. If I am ever back this way, I will definitely stay here again.

Property could use better maintenance

My basic requirements for a hotel stay are quiet and a hot shower. Both requirements were met. Breakfast was pretty standard for Hampton Inn. Bed and room furniture were fine. The problems were minor maintenance issues - screws sticking out of a poorly aligned door frame, perhaps mold around fire suppression system... (photos attached) I have stayed here before and probably will again.

Older hotel in good location.

This Hampton Inn is in a good location, off highway 61 near grocery stores, fast food restaurants and other shops. The front desk workers were friendly. The breakfast and the fitness room were consistent with other Hampton Inns. The hotel was clean but it was definitely dated. Also, there was poor lighting in the parking lot and our room was cool (it was cold outside when we were there). Overall, not fancy but decent.

Pricey for what you get

Check in was great. Front desk attendant was very helpful. Hotel is in a good quiet location. Room was ok. Nothing extravagant, the furniture was worn, some tiles on the floor were broken, draperies were lacking, but it was fairly clean and the pillows were comfortable. Really not worth the money we paid though.

Tired; in need of update

Not a lot of options in Muscatine so we chose the economical one! This hotel property is dated and in need of update. Good size bathroom but, other than that I have nothing really good to say!

Room were decent for one night stay. Room are a little out dated compared to other hotel room. Also breakfast was not the best. Found mold on the wheat and white bread. Not all bad at this location but some work is needed.

The bedding on one of the beds smelled and had visible dirt. The bathroom smelled sour. There were splashes of stuff on a wall and a headboard. The room smelled like dirty feet. But the property itself was nice and well kept. Staff was really nice. I have pictures if you'd like to see.

Would stay here on next visit.

Check in was great. Staff very friendly. Room was clean, but shower could use some TLC. It is starting to show its age. No water pressure to speak of in the shower. Front desk said they would have maintenance look at it, but we had to leave before it had been done. We would stay here again. Not going to leave a bad review based on shower. Things need to be worked on from time to time.

Amazing Staff and Clean Overall.

Staff is amazing and room was ok overall. Staff alone wanted me to give it a 5 out of 5, but I have to ding them on the room. It was clean and comfortable overall, but the furniture is dated and the couch in our suite is old and had what appeared to be grease stains from someone’s head. We are not very picky people, but felt the need to put a spare sheet in the couch. Some might have let that destroy the rating they gave this hotel, but as I said, the staff more than made up for it, and at the end of the day, the room was clean overall. I would suggest this hotel, but recommend they look at some updates. Also, breakfast was very good, many options and again, VERY friendly staff at breakfast.
