The standard of service is noticeably high in this hotel. Staff are quietly attentive, helpful, polite and professional with guests and with each other. The rooms are very comfortable and care is paid to details like comfortable beds and pillows. Worth noting the Hotels quiet commitment to cleanliness. Public areas are peaceful and restful. The beach and pool areas are a pleasure. This is a really relaxing and peaceful hotel I am very glad I chose it for my break from the British Winter.

I couldn't fault the place. The staff were brilliant and the restaurants, bars and facilities were very good. If there was one downside it would be that there isn't much in walking distance outside the hotel but that is the same for just about every hotel in Muscat and it's a lot better placed than some of the really expensive ones. In fact i would say the views from here are the best in the city. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to some places and the taxis at the hotel are plentiful and cheaper than hailing one from the street. Overall the hotel is up there with the best in Muscat.

The Hotel was lovely , the view from the room and poolside was stunning which included the sunsets. The staff were very friendly , considering they seem to work long hours. We would normally go out and eat but there was nothing near by so we ate at 4 of the 5 restaurants . Each was very nice , the Edge served great sushi! The buffet themed night was also good. Would recommend the rooms with a balcony although I would say they could do with being updated but they were fine and clean . If you want a nice hotel to chill out at then I would definitely recommend it . We went out in the morning sight seeing and then chilled around the pool in the afternoon. A couple of sunbed hoggers with their towels but there were plenty to go around !

I visited the hotel in Muscat last in 1997 and, whilst very good then, it is vastly improved now. I particularly enjoyed the themed catering evenings, the position of the hotel overlooking the sea and the very welcoming and helpful staff at all levels. Many thanks I will try not to leave it so long to my next visit.

I have been staying at Crown Plaza since last twenty years whenever I visit Muscat, professional and friendly staff, good service, and nice facilities always made me feel like back home. This time had lunch at Come Prima, sea food pasta was excellent! Also Arlene was very helpful and professional. Look forward to coming back again to Crown Plaza.
