Great House in Small Village

We were in town for a cousin's wedding and this house was perfect. It felt like home. The family had a great time. Lots of space both indoors and outside. Also, perfectly situated - less than 15min to Torreira (beach) and the same to most of the neighboring towns. Looking forward to going again next year.

The house is excellent and very well equipped. The outside is set to lawn with secure boundaries and therefore great for dogs to roam. The house is well set out for either families or a group of friends. The house is also ideally placed for amenities in the local town or as a base for exploring the area I.e. the local coast, Averio or Porto. The host is excellent and always available to resolve issues or to provide direction or advice.

Hemos pasado una semana increíble en casa de Helena. La casa es mejor incluso que las fotos, no le falta detalle. La zona es muy tranquila ideal para el descanso y puedes ir andando a la panaderia e incluso al supermercado si te gusta pasear .El clima es ideal, si no te gusta pasar calor en agosto. Helena siempre esta pendiente de cualquier duda, sin duda repetiremos.

No tuvimos una buena experiencia

Quiero dejar claro que la casa está muy bien pero no es para 9 personas y la cercanía al mar es relativa.Una cama es un colchón hinchable y una habitación está fuera de la casa. No se indica en el anuncio.Además el colchón estaba roto y tuvimos problemas con la caldera. Para finalizar, nos dijo que habíamos deteriorado la casa. En fin, no fiñue una buena experiencia.

Wonderful home in quaint village. Cafe for coffee and bread or toast nearby. Near the ocean by car.

Loved staying here . Spacious and comfortable and clean and Helena was readily responsive if needed. Nice outdoor space to relax in the evening. Not far from train for day trips .

Lovely house

We were here for a two night stay. The house is lovely, with all the amenities could possibly want. It is a short walk to the Ribeira de Pardelhas and all the walks in that area. Certainly recommend.

Maison très bien agencée, spacieuse et propre avec une belle suite et deux autres chambres. Cuisine et salle à manger très pratiques. Une dépendance abrite une deuxième suite. Un accueil aux petits soins et une propriétaire très disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Nous connaissions déjà la région.

A house like home.

Very spacious, homely and clean house. Peaceful surroundings. Very warm welcome and departure with local fruits. The house is very well equipped, everything you need for a pleasant holiday is there. Aveiro Lagoon and its surroundings offered interesting excursions for several days, beautiful beaches and fishing villages with good restaurants are not far away. Muito obrigado )

Rural Portugal

The property was one of the best equipped, cleanest and comfortable of all those we have hired in Europe so far. The local people in Murtosa were very friendly, and the nearby restaurant O Bico da Murtosa, excellent. O Farol, the fisherman’s bar by the Pier of Ribeira de Pardelhas, also nearby, was fun, very welcoming and a good place for eels! This location is not for those looking for night life or bright lights but is more for those wanting a quiet, very typically old Portuguese holiday. Nearby there IS a small beach that has a resident lifeguard when the water's "in". That's ideal for little ones but beware the mudflats at half and low tide. There are beautiful Atlantic coast beaches if you don't mind a short drive. When the surf's "up" they are spectacular.

Très grand, très propre! Attention, il n’y a pas de supermarché tout tout près - il faut 10-15 min en voiture pour un moyen magasin! Mais nous avons eu droit aux fruits du jardin !!

Nous avons trouvé une maison très belle et très propre , la propriétaire n'étant un peu la pas sur place ,sa maman nous a fait un bel accueil malgré un peu la barrière avec la langue, mais en arrivant nous avions des fruits sur la table et aussi pour notre premier petit déjeuner , les 4 chambres très confortables et nous n'étions pas gênés nous étions un groupe de 9 retraités amis et famille;Je recommande

Casa fantástica.

Para votar la casa de Helena, entre el uno y el cinco le doy un siete...Después de ver que otro propietario cancelaba otra casa en la zona de Torreira con escasas 24 h de antelación a la entrada, encontramos la casa de Helena y estamos hasta agradecidos de habernos quedado sin esa primera casa... Ésta está impecable, perfecta, amplia, acogedora, perfectísimamente equipada, tiene un bonito jardín y una huerta preciosa, frutales, mucha luz y mucha paz...una maravilla. Hemos utilizado las bicicletas que la casa tenía a disposición para recorrer el etorno de la ría, hemos podido observar aves -flamencos, patos, aves de presa-, hemos pescado desde San Jacinto (es muy sencillo gestionar la licencia de pesca online y se puede pescar tanto en mar como en la ría con ella). Los paseos por Murtosa han sido otro placer, compartir conversación con sus habitantes y disfrutar de su gran hospitalidad. Gracias Helena y también a tu madre, ha sido un gran placer estar hospedados en tu casa, ya estamos pensando en volver.

Nous avons passé 10 jours magnifiques

Suite à une galère de location, nous avons contacté Helena le mardi matin et avons pu prendre la maison l'après midi même ! Un accueil adorable par sa maman qui ne parle que Portugais, elle est aux petits soins pour nous ! Quel réconfort pour nous ! La maison est grande, propre, très bien équipée et aménagée avec goût, la suite parentale est sublime. La rue est très calme, le jardin très agréable. Chaque jour nous allions promener notre chien sur les plages de Torreira à environ 15 minutes de la maison. Petits points à améliorer : un peu de documentations touristiques, des cartes.. et puis un salon de jardin pour manger à l'extérieur. Vraiment allez y sans hésiter, Helena est une propriétaire attentive à ses hôtes et on la remercie encore d'avoir sauvé nos vacances.
