"Good parking Check out at 10 am is too early for travelers Breakfast poor: we only got a bottle of milk no juice in the refrigerator. Our room has no air conditioner , has a fan instead. Disappointed ,room doesn’t look anything like pictures shown Windows has no screen, so when we open to get fresh air, bugs flown in. Fortunately we only stay one night otherwise I wouldn’t stay longer."

It was a great base to explore a part of France that we were unfamiliar with and our dog was well catered for with nice walks in the area and also from the cottage."

"This is truely a splendid location to enjoy the Brenne's amazing rich nature: red deer, wild boar, red fox, a great number of bird species. They can all be seen around the house and in the etang and forest in the 'backgarden' of the beautiful house."

The location is set in acres of stunning scenery, yet you aren’t far from bakeries, butchers and supermarkets etc.. "We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday staying for two weeks in this lovely gite. The property is beautifully restored and has everything needed for comfortable living. The photographs do not do the property justice as it is much nicer than shown, with a lovely shower room and separate toilet facilities and lovely shady areas to sit all around.The swimming pool is beautiful - chest height throughout with easy access steps and new quality sun beds and shades.Our hosts were lovely and provided us with gifts of fresh eggs and produce from their garden.We enjoyed exploring local towns and villages where there are many colourful markets and lovely places for coffee and lunch.The whole area is very tranquil and the gite is in an incredibly peaceful spot.Thank you to our hosts - we hope to return next year."

"If you like old towns with history and want to stay in an old coaching inn (logis de france), then stay here! It is old but cleaned very well. The restaurant (also dining room for breakfast) is beautiful. Le monsieur (owner) is a excellent chef and madame serves meals for an elegant and unhurried evening. often only 4-6 other tables dining. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved Loches and the Hotel de France!"
