The Surf Shak-Vintage Coastal Charm

A relaxing, coastal getaway awaits you at The Surf Shak, a restored 2-bedroom, 2-bath home in Murrells Inlet, SC. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city life in this quaint fishing town, just 10 miles south of Myrtle Beach. Less than a mile from the delicious restaurants at the Marsh-walk, Beaver Bar and SBB. A perfect place for families, friends, couples and pets.

LIVING & DINING
After an action-packed day of your coastal vacation, relax on our comfy sectional couch in the living room. Enjoy access to cable tv and free internet. Or sit in the cozy chair and read a book to unwind.
This fully stocked kitchen will be helpful when preparing meals for your family. When it’s time to eat, enjoy the large dining table with seating for 6-7.
BED & BATH
This home sleeps up to 6 guests in two bedrooms.
Find comfort in the master suite, featuring a plush queen bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and a tub/shower combination.
The guest bedroom is outfitted with a twin-over-full bunk bed and a twin trundle. An extra guest could sleep on the couch as well. The adjacent bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower. Linens & Towels are provided.
THE AMAZING PORCH
Your family and friends will be sure to enjoy this amazing screened in front porch featuring a loveseat swing, hammock and two rockers.

It is best to have a vehicle to get around town.
There is room for 2 vehicles to park in the front with additional parking around back.

Plenty of room for a boat or motorcycle trailer.

Rent a golf cart from Coastal Carts Unlimited.

Please communicate through the website or app. Hosts are available through call or text if needed but since we manage multiple listings. It`s best to message through the app so we know which reservation has questions.

The Surf Shak is less than a mile from the Marshwalk. The Marshwalk is a scenic area with the best seafood restaurants overlooking the inlet. It`s a great place for shopping, lunch & dinner, happy hour, long walks along the boardwalk. It`s also a great place to rent/launch a kayak or book a sunset cruise. Huntington beach state park is 5 minutes south. Garden city beach is 5 minutes to the north. Great central location!
**There is a brand new home on the back side of the property. Have a large group? Inquire about renting both.

Bring your car or use local taxi, many prefer to bring bikes or rent them. The bike path picks up at the end of Sunnyside Ave.

Guests must be 23 and older to reserve.

No parties, events or unregistered guests.
Max occupancy is 6 people including children but not infants.

No early or late checkouts without prior approval. The cleaners will arrive at checkout time to get started. More than 15 minutes late checkout will be charged a $100 fee. Please make arrangements to depart on time.

Pet Rules:
Dogs must be kept on a leash
Dog waste must be collected and disposed of.
Please cover furniture with provided furniture covers if pets will be on the couch or beds.
No dogs left alone in the property without a crate.

Reminds me of a cabin up north on the lake but without a lake. Older unit but very comfortable!

Wonderful Stay

The house was very charming, LOVED the screened in porch, we enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. We had everything we needed for our stay. We would select this property again if we are ever back to Myrtle Beach

The property was clean and ready for us! The kitchen and laundry area had everything we needed. It was the perfect home away from home! The location was wonderful as well! We were close to shops, food, and only a few minutes from several beaches. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Surf Shak was a quaint older home, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bed! Close to marsh walk and great restaurants! Communication with Rebecca was easy and she promptly responded.

Murrells Inlet Bungalow

The house is in a perfect location for Murrells Inlet marsh walk and all the great restaurants. It's an old home but has been revamped fairly nicely. for the price it was perfect.

This little gem was perfect in every way. Short drive to restaurants, marsh walk. and Huntington Beach State Park. We loved rocking or swinging on the screened in front porch. …almost like going back in time to Grandma's house.

Cute Pet Friendly “Shack”

This historic older cottage is pet friendly and convenient to the Marshwalk. The best part is the large screened front porch for sitting and relaxing. The kitchen is large and well equipped, although we didn’t cook much at all on this visit. We mostly used the house for a place to sleep at night while we visited family in the area. Rebecca is great at communicating if you have any issues.

Perfect Location - Lovely Home

Our first time in Murrells Inlet and we loved it! Home was charming and beautiful use of space.. we adored the wraparound porch and eat in kitchen was huge! We only use the master bedroom as it was just the two of us, but the bed was super comfortable, and the master bath extremely large, and the closet in that section was nice and big .. Location AWESOME ... we were only about a mile to all the restaurants and bars at the wharf area and an easy 10 minute drive to Surfside to the beach ... we would def stay here again - had a wonderful time!

Wonderful stay at Surf Shack

This little house had everything we needed and more: it was sparking clean, spacious, well equipped, with a huge master bathroom and a lovely screened-in patio. The kitchen was well equipped with all essentials as well. Rebecca’s communication was top notch! The location was convenient to the Huntington Beach State Park as well, which is a true gem for photographers, birders and nature lovers. We enjoyed it every day during our stay in Murrells Inlet. Our dog who came with us, has asked us to give the house 5 barks out of 5 as well!

Surf Shak

Older home remodled with upgraded master bath. Very quaint. Would not recommend more than 3 adults unless you dont mind sleeping on the couch, which is very comfortable. Host is awesome to communicate with. Very responsive. Neighborhood is excellent and quiet. There is a lot of traffic noise but shutting the front door eliminated it. I would stay there again for sure.

We had a wonderful time!

This Murrells Inlet cottage is Fantastic and Perfect!! Right around the corner from our favorite seafood market (Seven Seas), so close to Pawleys Island (where other family members were staying), fully stocked kitchen - we cooked a lot! Had the family over for dinner since the kitchen table is Large enough for 6 or 7 people. My husband loved the hammock! Our dog loved the screened-in front porch. The Master Bath is Huge! We really had a great time! Thanks for having such a fully stocked kitchen that I could make soup - plus other things. Wonderful Stay!

Check in was easy, the place was easy to find and in a perfect part of town, very close to several restaurants and attractions as well as the beach access points. It was clean and check out instructions were easy, we will definitely be back!
