"The apartments are fine but very expensive for what they are and the facilities eg although there’s a lovely terrace there are no loungers. The price was 1 to 2 higher than nearby apartments that offered more. On arrival our balcony doors didn’t lock. We called and someone came to check but we had to sleep feeling unsafe. "Salou is a VERY hilly town. A lot of people encouraging you into bars and restaurants it gets exhausting.
The hotel itself is EXTREMELY basic. Incredibly clean but you have to pay for everything including full size towels. You have to clear your room including any rubbish but staff are friendly and to be fair to the price you pay its perfectly acceptable "
"The Blaumar has everything you could possibly want for a quiet relaxing family holiday. I’ve been here twice in the last year with different ages of kids and adults and it caters for young and old. The staff are amazing from the reception staff to the staff at the pool. Fantastic entertainment. The only reason we left the hotel was to use the hotels beach bar across the road at the beach. There was a very good choice of food for breakfast and the dinner choice was, on the whole, very good also - some evenings better than others.
