"When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. "Visesa is a gorgeous, well-kept resort with very attentive staff. Our pool villa was stunning! The photos online do not convey how beautiful they are. We loved the food, especially their buffet breakfast - my husband and I really enjoyed sampling the Balinese & Indian options as well. Our kids were obsessed with the cultural entertainment provided at dinner and begged to eat at the resort every night. The resort is not within walking distance to the centre of Ubud, which we didn’t not mind at all as the free shuttle in & out makes it very easy. We will definitely be returning to Visesa"
