2 Bedroom Live/Work Apartment in the Heart of Pennsdale
Located in the heart of Pennsdale, an historic community that was originally settled by Quakers. The Pennsdale Meeting House and several homes in the area were part of the Underground Railroad.
Located just off the interstate and among farms, mountains and meadows, yet a short distance to shopping, restaurants and big box stores. This property offers a unique live/work experience or use the entire apartment for 100% living. The farmhouse was updated in 2020 with new windows, siding and metal roof, wood flooring on the main level and a new bathroom with stacked washer/dryer. The upper level has original hardwood flooring and the original doors and arches were kept intact. The kitchenette was completed in 2025 and opens to a large deck ready for grilling and features views of the surrounding area.
There are two separate entrances, one on each level and a covered front porch. The main level is an open, light filled space with windows on three sides and has space for a living room, dining room or home office arrangement. The upper level offers two bedrooms, a full bath with laundry and kitchenette that opens to the deck. The second bedroom could be an upper-level living room with the live/work lifestyle. Owner is open to adding a half bath on the main level.
