"Lovely lodge and inn with personal services. Proprietor greeted us by name and walked us to our room. Morning staff at the restaurant knew us and were most helpful! Breakfast was delicious! We will stay again if our journeys bring us this way again! Next time, we will plan to arrive early enough for dinner at the Lodge!"

"My goal was to visit Castles and see the countryside!We purposely selected this place for the fact it was kinda in the middle of Ireland, from where we would make day trips. It worked wonderfully! Our other purpose was to be away from Dublin and meet what I guessed would be the true Irish. Very Close by was a fantastic Pub, and restaurant. We stayed a week here. Safety was of no concern on this trip. The people were wonderful and the food fantastic. We visited 7 castles while here, and went to the cliffs of Moher. We saved an incredible amount of money doing this ourselves versus going on tour buses. Do be aware back roads can be extremely narrow. I surely brushed the rental car against hedgerows on occasion. Rent a small narrow car for this neck of the woods. A big SUV would have been very difficult to keep on your side of the road, on backroads . Our Host Margaret was wonderfully accommodating. "

"This home is immaculate! Advanced technology, beautifully decorated, very comfortable. It is conveniently located next to groceries and across from Thompson’s Pub, and is a two minute walk to the bus stop with a direct line to Galway. This home is located in the beautiful serene countryside with breathtaking views. Our hosts were readily available and very accommodating, helpful with directions and ideas for Ireland adventures.
