There is a river at the bottom of the garden.. Enjoy the splendour and magnificence of Strathconon, a beautiful glen deep in the Highlands of Scotland. This detached cottage is situated at the far and dramatic end of the glen. It has a real ‘get away from it all’ feel and is surrounded by outstanding Highland scenery. The views of mountains, forests, the river and valley floor pasture, are exactly what you want from a Highland vista. Perfect for a couple, two couples or ideal for a small family. Braigh na Leitre can be booked together with Glenmeanich Cottage (ref UK33789) a little further down the glen. The cottage is spacious, nicely furnished and well-equipped. Local attractions include hill walking, river and loch fishing (permits being available from the estate office) and an abundance of wildlife, all of which help to add to the enjoyment of this ’Brigadoon’ type glen. The property makes an excellent base for touring the North and Western Highlands and the Whisky Trails or taking a boat trip on Loch Ness. Shop, pub and restaurant 15 miles.
Braigh na Leitre can be booked together with Glenmeanich Cottage (UK33789), Gate Lodge (UK42791) and Glacour Studio Cottage (W1410) to accommodate up to 19 guests.
