Very nice hotel with clean rooms and attentive staff. It’s a bit of a hike from the city proper, and the on site restaurant is pretty pricey, especially compared to the area. Only major gripe is that there are not “laundry facilities” as listen in the hotel amenities. There is a laundry SERVICE at ridiculous prices.

This place was wonderful for our 2 night stay. We were very pleased with the location to the botanical gardens, restaurant, lake and university of Münster. Nice room and mini bar options! Clean and friendly staff! Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The staff were amazing. The restaurant and bar are top notch. The room that we stayed in is a bit dated and the bathroom could use a better door. Great location though.

Good food but Noisy at night / expensive to park
Hotel is clean staff are friendly, food is good, however parking is expensive 17€ per day/Night. Pillows on bed awful. Noise in the back rooms is bad at night when kitchen staff are cleaning and moving huge metal bins around at 1am. Also hospital near by so sirens going off every half an hour.

We would like to mention how very friendly the staff were, they gave us great service. All the staff, bar staff, restaurant staff and reception were excellent. Munster is a fantastic city to visit and Movenpick the best hotel, perfectly situated.

Great hotel. Free Parking was limited, but the front desk staff was very helpful in directing me to some other options close by. The restaurant is quite good and the bartenders are very friendly. If I find myself back in Münster, I’ll definitely stay here.

The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood, was extremely clean, gym qas decent and the restaurant was fantastic! Little but out of the center, but can was only 13 euros.

Avoid if you a foreign tourist
I had book 2 rooms, I rang the hotel about 3 hours earlier that we will be arriving at around 7pm. On arrival there was a tourist bus arrived and we were forced unload or 10 luggage in the rain, as a family of 5, we where forced to sit on the side until all the bus of around 50 where checked in. Finally we were checking in and too find out the the 2 rooms were on 2 levels as the hotel was full. I replied to the receptionist that I had booked these rooms months in advance and here reply was there are now rooms available. I told her that I had rang earlier too advise that we will be late, it was like water of a ducks back. I asked where can I park our van it was just under 2 m high and could not go under the car park, she replied drive around the long driveway and there are Parking around. Finally park and my son and I ran in the rain back to the hotel. Finally we moved once again our luggage up to the roooms to find out the triple room was a smoking room. I rang reception and they advised that the hotel was. Full. Not much sleep that night with the intense smell of smoke. Breakfast was ok, if you are an expresso coffee drinker, you will be disappointed like in most hotels in Northern Germany, a push button coffee machine. In the morning once a we moved all our luggage back down, on checkout they asked as usual how was your stay, I complained about everything and looked at the computer screen and said that smoking room She will deduct 50 Euros for the inconvenince

Therefore, we are truly grateful. We read with sorrow that your stay was not to your liking but want to distance ourselves from the statement that we are not a hotel for foreign tourists. We are truly proud of all the different guests from all over the world checking in and feeling welcomed by our hotel. In no way we are discriminating against any country or person. That you got this feeling makes us very sad and we want to apologize heavily. We also want to apologize for your trouble during your Check-In and that you had to wait, for there were 50 people checking in before you and your family. We will discuss this matter with the team to get a smoother and faster check in for all guests. There must have been a misunderstanding between you and the staff at the reception, for we are very proud of offering 68 free parking lots on hotel ground that are not in the underground garage and therefore just right for your car. Due to your feedback we will be able to sensitize our staff on this matter and want to thank you very much for it. That you had to search for a parking lot on the nearby street saddens us a lot and we want to apologize for your extra efforts. We are very sorry that you did not like your room but read with joy that our staff were able to deduct 50€ for your inconvenience. It would be a huge concern of ours to welcome you back once more at the Mövenpick Hotel and to convince you of our houses high standards. Until than we wish you just the best and a merry Christmas. Overall good hotel. We booked a standard room with extra bed for our daughter of 14. We were told that we had an upgrade to a superieur room, though I can't imagine what the upgrade was. We had 2 beds that looked like 1,20 m each. Our daughter slept in one and enjoyed it very much, but my husband and I were squizzed in the other bed. My guess is that we got a double room with 2 beds and had to share it with the 3 of us.

Hotel room was very Hotel situated in a quiet area away from any main road and by a beautiful lake and approximately 15-20 mins walk from the centre of the city. A couple of very nice restaurants close by if you don't want to spend 23 Euros on a breakfast. Comfortable room, however lacked some sensible touches such as bedside tables rather than a shelf behind ones head. The shower was disappointing for a hotel of this price range.

Meets standards, but not exceptional
Meets standards. Nothing was exceedingly wow or wrong. Peaceful area but nothing super close by. Staff knowledgeable about area. Helpfulness was hit or miss, either extremely helpful or very blasé. Fitness center was a plus. Internet on lower floors was subpar and couldn’t be remedied while I was there. Internet on higher floors was exceptionally fast. Laundry service returned within a day is exceptional compared to other facilities I have stayed. Overall sufficient for 4 star hotel. Needs some work if it is striving for higher as I have seen 4.5 star on some ratings sites.
