"Super nice stay in Royal Shaza suites, away from crowded places. It's a hidden gem. Super clean spacious rooms, nice gym, two pools (bigger and one smaller) and also a big lawn. Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was really good, many options to choose. Even it's a bit further it's easy to go around. They had also one of the best massage, I suggest to try it. I would give a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "

Pros The Room Has AC and a fan There's a backup generator The place is a 5 min walk to the beach The front staff were really nice The pool overlooks the ocean There's a view of the ocean albeit a little obscured There's wifi The Cons The room was a lot smaller than expected esp after the photos on here The wifi was shaky at best. The Smart Tv is just a digital tv with DVB built in. No actual internet access The bed...

"Arrived 2.30 pm had to wait two hours before the room was ready. Problem also checking out delayed another hour and charged extra for a mistake that wasn't mine and was a hotel.com error. No fridge in rooms and antiquated TV with very poor reception. Other than that staff were good but this hotel needs a good injection of money to upgrade the rooms Wouldn't go back to be honest. "

"I had a very nice and comfortable stay at Voyager Beach Resort. It's a beautiful property - the setting, the pools, the beach bar - and it is obvious that staff and the management go out of their way to be attentive to customers' needs. There are always minor things to improve (plumbing in the rooms, tastiness of some foods), but overall I highly recommend Voyager for a beach vacation on the Kenyan coast. "
