"Absolutely loved our stay at Toa Hotel and Spa! The service was exceptional, with staff who truly go above and beyond. I wish I can give it a 10 star for their service! The rooms are stunning, with private pools and direct beach access. We enjoyed the delicious food made with love, and the beach dinners were unforgettable, complete with an amazing show under the stars. "Best ratio quality / price of the hotels where I’ve been. Staff kind and super efficient, hotel really charming located in front of a calm and stunning beach. Perfect for a relaxing trip. "
"I stayed at Zanzibar Palace Hotel from June 8 to June 10 and had an amazing experience. The hotel is full of character, with beautiful Zanzibari decor and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect—close to all the sights, yet quiet at night. A true gem in Stone Town. Highly recommended!"
"It was a beautiful and quiet hotel. Staff and food were excellent, lovely big rooms. Shame the sea is tidal and not the prettiest but the hotel is lovely. "

"Beautiful property and fun water park. Spacious rooms, nicely decorated and very clean. Friendly, professional staff with smiling faces. I caught a beautiful sunset at the pier!"
"The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old.
There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room.
Breakfast and room service were very good.
The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well.
You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. "
"I was pleasantly surprised at how nice a place Zanzibar View Hotel was. One of the most beautiful and clean (very clean) boutique hotels I have stayed in. I found out that it was just recently opened, and that’s why no previous reviews. Every one of the hotel staff was very pleasant, from the manager all the way to housekeeping. The restaurant is very well designed and pleasantly decorated. It was clean and inviting, and the food was exceptional. Even though the menu was limited because they just recently opened, the chef did an excellent job in presentation and taste. I have to mention the attention to detail by both waiters, Rashid (Chili) and Mwajuma who made my dining experience memorable. My favorite dinner selection was “mchemsho wa kuku” (boiled chiken), followed by the beef curry.
One item to note: the hotel is right by the beach, but it’s not a swimmable beach. They will hopefully fix it to enable ocean swimming in the future. They do, however, have a really nice swimming pool right next to the ocean.
My flight back to Kenya was departing at 11 pm. The hotel manager, Hassan was very accommodating, and allowed a late checkout that enabled me to stay until 9 pm (for a fee, of course).
I would definitely go back"
