"The highlight to me was the staff - attentive, accommodating, friendly and enthusiastically helpful, despite my lack of fluency in Portuguese. and varying degrees of fluency in English on their part. I found the 4x4 trip to the resort more heartbreaking than bone-jarring. The indigant people live off very little. I was wondering if a boat transfer from Pemba would be possible?
