"We enjoyed our stay at the El Mirador. The staff is nice and helpful. They go out of there way to help and provide assistance. The owner is kind, friendly and works hard. Breakfast is good, coffee is hot and fresh. We stayed in one night and had a nice dinner on site at the pool side, lots of dinner choices. The views are spectacular and the grounds are kept clean and well maintained. Lot's to see in and around Ometepe. We would go back anytime! "

"This is a lovely gem set on quiet Coco beach. Perfect for when you want to get away from all of the noise and crowds of downtown San Juan del Sur or noisier local beaches. Loved the morning breakfast and fish dinners. Kids loved the pizza. Would have liked options for booking local tours such as night time turtle walk or local horseback riding etc. "

"I was very happy with the choice of staying at this place. I stayed for two months and was able to cook. The beds were comfortable and the space felt large. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs that has views of the mountains. So when it rains you can still hang out on the porch. The sunset clouds are so beautiful. There is the most wonderful local family that overseas the property. The only downside is the road up to the place is really rough."
