"Great place to spend our five week stay in Ireland! It felt like home for my husband and I along with our six children. The home is cozy and spacious inside and beautifully decorated. Loved seeing the horses pass being exercised along the road. We enjoyed eating at the Thatched cottage often and felt like regulars by the end of our stay. A great central location for making day trips to Galway, Cork, and Limerick. Jeanette and Steve were wonderful host, very friendly and prompt in answering any...

"The accommodations are relaxing and beautiful. The town and nearby Nenagh have what you need. Hickey's Bar across the street is a wonderful place to meet the nicest people. Highly recommend staying here at Paul and Karen's place in Silvermines. Karen's friendly reception and initial information set the tone for a great visit!"

"The cottage was very comfortable. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The location was central to all the places we visited. We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening. On our final day, we enjoyed touring the local area and found that there was plenty to do in or near Mountshannon. It was nice taking a break from driving. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early...
