We had a great weekend away in the Hidden A Frame! Good location and easy communication with the host. Enjoyed the fire pit each night, and saw a couple of deer during our stay! We would definitely recommend to others!
The cabin was very clean and cozy. The family enjoyed grilling on the deck and playing bags around the campfire. We got to see a momma deer and her fawns walk up to the cabin in the front yard area. We wish we could have stayed longer. Very close to Mountain View for shopping. We plan to reserve the larger cabin in the fall so that all of our family can come with us next visit. The only complaint that I have was that the backyard was not mowed.
The place is very cute. Nicely decorated. Secluded in the woods. Nearby neighbors but you wouldn’t know it. Close to town. The kids loved the loft. Perfect for a family of 4.
This is the second time we have stayed at one of Emily’s properties and we will definitely book again. The hidden A-frame was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, away, and hidden yet comfortable, clean, and equipped. This place was mere minutes from all that the area has to offer but still secluded and quiet. The small kitchen is equipped with the basics (bring your own food and spices for your meals.) My husband is very particular about beds but he slept like a baby in the comfortable beds provided. This place is highly recommended for those who want to hide away but don’t want to be completely removed from civilization. Make sure to hit Blanchard Springs for their swimming holes and the cave of course! If you are a hiker there is no shortage of easy and challenging trail heads. Don’t miss the light shopping in town! Cute boutiques and antique stores await your curiosity. Thank you for hosting our wonderful vacation!
Absolutely perfect! Cabin was beautiful and quiet. We visited for a cool fall weekend with two kiddos who loved making smores over the fire pit. We saw lots of deer and a baby possum. The view and the fall leaves were so lovely! Everything about the cabin was clean and inviting, and host was super informative. This place is perfect in the fall. The entrance is a little hard to see in the dark, since the roads are covered in leaves, but we made it just fine. Thank you for having us, we will be back!
Property was situated in a quiet and peaceful location, love the serenity of the place. Cabin was beautiful and clean and has a modern touch. Everything was provided from utensils, cookware, towels and bath essentials. It even comes with board games, and washer and dryer. Had a really wonderful time with the family.
We really enjoyed our stay at A Hidden A Frame. Just to make a note to anyone who has small cars, the road down the property was little rough. Would definitely suggest a truck or taller vehicle. But it wasn’t too bad after we got used to the drive. Everything was so nice and clean, beds are comfortable! The kids loved the loft! We enjoyed being outside in the porch. The kids loved every bit of it. We played board games provided and had a great time. Unfortunately, the Caverns were closed when we were here. We were really hoping to see the Caverns. But there are so many outdoor things to do. We visited the Blanchard Springs, Gunner Pool area was so beautiful. The kids enjoyed their play in the water. We did Loco Rope and it was so much fun! We did horseback riding and our daughter loved it! We also tried out couple of restaurants recommended by the manager and really liked them! We love the people here, they are so sweet and kind. We walked down the square and main street, enjoyed visiting little shops and supported local stores! We wanted to hike and with young kids we found Blanchard Springs area was great to do with them. But we also found about 20 or so minutes away from the property, there is Devils Knob hiking trail, and oh my, it is probably my favorite that I didn’t hear anyone talked about or recommended here. The kids loved loved it! We had a 3 years old with us so it was little tough for my husband to carry him a lot! But the view was so beautiful up on the mountain! We definitely will visit again in the future and hopefully the Caverns will open back up! Such an awesome trip for our little family!
Great location, remote, quiet. Quaint cabin that is well-kept, clean and perfect for people looking to get away. No cellular service but there is wifi which worked well during our stay. Easy drive to Mountain View, AR and Blanchard Springs Cavern. Will stay again when in the area!
So I am a hotel snob. I have to use bottled water to brush my teeth, wear socks to bed, and don’t sit or touch anything, BUT this place was amazing!! I didn’t even have to use bottled water! Lol It was so clean and I felt at home. We absolutely loved it!!! Even the toughest critic can stay here with ease! Best place I’ve ever stayed!
We enjoyed our stay so much! Every detail was considered in the Hidden A frame! We were so comfortable. Our 2 boys loved sleeping in the loft and the beds were very comfortable.
At dusk the fireflies were amazing! The fire pit was prefect for smores! The creek was beautiful! We caught several fish and it was refreshing to swim in!
We've already shared this property with several friends! We hope to be back one day!
This place is amazing. A quaint cabin in the woods. Private and cozy. The place is top notch and very relaxing. We loved our time here and can't wait to come back.
This property was well above our expectations! We stayed with our 2 boys (5 and 8 years old) and enjoyed our trip so much! We fished and swam in the beautiful, clear, creek nearby. We saw more fireflies than we have ever seen! We enjoyed smores by the campfire. We took a short drive to enjoy Mirror Lake and Blanchard Springs. We also took a hike to Steele Falls and enjoyed our own private waterfall for the afternoon! There is so much nature and beauty in this area. And the house is perfect! Every detail has been thought through and perfected! Thank you for sharing your beautiful piece of property with us!
Such a cute, well-designed little house. You really feel off-the-grid! Loved the fire pit, the new-house smell, and the proximity to Mountain View and Gunner Pool.
We wanted something private and cozy! This place is exactly what we wanted! The house was exactly as described. I would definitely recommend going in a truck or SUV. Glad we had my husbands truck. The area is very beautiful. Would definitely go back!

Even the most Urban of Travelers will feel at home in the HIdden A Frame!
My husband, 2 children and 2 dogs stayed in the Hidden A Frame outside of Mountain View this weekend. I cannot say enough about how perfect our stay was. IVY VACATIONS has the most comprehensive, yet succinct pre arrival info of any rental I have ever stayed in. They have thought about EVERYTHING! The decor and comfort of the Hidden A Frame was truly first class when thinking of a "cabin experience". It was so well appointed and stylish that even the most urban of visitors will feel at home. We caught several bass in the creek at the end of the road, made many fires in the fire pit, played ALL THE GAMES provided in the cabin, and visited the MAJESTIC BLANCHARD SPRINGS AND CAVERNS. We hiked at the Gunner Pool Recreation area, saw bald eagles at Mirror Lake, ate a tasty lunch at Anglers overlooking the White River and picked up some pretty good pizza from Jimmys. This was one of our best long weekend adventures ever! We look forward to renting from IVY VACATIONS again and maybe trying out the bus or the tepee! It is worth mentioning that if you are a Medical Cannabis patient that Fiddlers Green is an excellent bonus!

Great Cabin/Great Location
My husband and I came to Mt View to get away for the weekend. We love coming to Mt. View to stay in a neat cabin and relax by a fire. The A-Frame cabin is quite new and very well designed. Loved how they did the finishes and decor. Great location to downtown. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. I have a couple of suggestions to make it even better. The shower had several long hairs in it, which is a bid turnoff to me. Otherwise the cabin was very clean. My husband's #1 requirement was to be able to build a fire. It was raining when we arrived. The firewood is under the deck but water goes right through the cracks of the deck boards so all the wood was soaking wet. An inexpensive tarp could help solve that. Also the wood is too large for a small wood stove. After getting all settled in for the evening we ultimately had to drive back into town and make several stops before finding $20 of dry firewood with kindling so we could have a fire the next 2 days. Also there were no fire utinsils so we had to improvise. After that, all was good. Love going to Tommy's Pizza and Olivers Bistro!! Thanks for a great weekend.
We really enjoyed our stay at this small, modern A-frame. It has great seclusion in the woods to help you feel away from it all. We love the Mountain View area, and this is a great place to experience it from. We’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a modern patch to get away to. We especially enjoyed the fire pit!
