"Monkey Falls was set in a lovely location right in the jungle. It was quiet and relaxing. We were shown around Rod’s farm which was very interesting. The kitchen makes lovely home made food, including breakfast, which we ate every day. Tours can easily be booked from there and they will pick you up. It’s a short taxi ride from town. All in all a nice place to stay if you want to relax and you like jungle and wildlife."

"It was great. The waterfalls on site are stunning. The views from the restaurant are amazing and the staff was great. They were always friendly and attentive. The only complaint is that it needs some sort of AC for during the day. Fans weren't enough to keep the room cool in the hot season. Other times of the year I'm sure it's perfect. I'd still highly recommend it."

The setting is serene and beautiful, with a small number of friendly animals that added to the charm without being overwhelming. Penomi, the front host, was always warm and welcoming, offering us thoughtful recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable. The service throughout our stay was five star, personal, attentive, and full of heart.
We ended up eating most of our dinners at the lodge because Oscar’s cooking was simply outstanding, creative, flavorful, and made with love. Every meal felt like a celebration of Belizean flavors in a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Our cabin was comfortable, clean, and tucked into the jungle, allowing us to feel connected with nature while still enjoying modern comfort. This place is truly special and we’re already dreaming about coming back."
