The home is charming and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. In a safe and quiet town. The host provided a welcome gift and decorated for Christmas too. It was perfect for my visit with grandchildren and family! Very familiar with this town and the home is centrally located with convenient access to stores if needed
Charming historic home in the middle of Mountain Home
This charming historic home was the perfect backdrop for our family getaway! We wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful historic home. We had such a wonderful time! The cutest home from the fireplace, the porch swing, the cozy bedrooms. It was the perfect setting for our family vacation.Thank you for sharing your special place with us. Loved the proximity to everything.
Beyond the excellent communication, convenient location and ease of check in, you'll be greeted with a sense of home and comfort in this historic charmer. The beautifully remodeled kitchen is fully fitted for any cooking or baking need. Right off the gorgeous kitchen is a spacious dining room, ready for family meals, game nights or remote working space. Oh, and the craftsman built in china..... stunning! The living room has comfortable furniture, fireplace and a roku tv. The two bedrooms are carefully appointed with linens, towels, soap, dressers, tvs and comfy beds. There are ensuites and closets in both bedrooms. Two large covered porches add to the old world charm. Great places for sitting and chatting, having morning coffee, or an evening glass of wine. The front porch has a porch swing and a huge shade tree provides even more old time ambiance. This spot turned out to be one of our favorite places to chat at night about the days activities. The home is meticulously maintained and was spotlessly clean. Convenient, safe, location. Great parking. 110% make this your pick if you are looking for a home away from home during your stay in Mountain Home.

Loved it!
Wonderful place to stay in Mountain Home. Very clean, very comfortable. Short walk to good food. Will stay here again next time we're in town.
Great 2 bed/2 bath house. Had everything we needed for our stay. Close to the square, which was nice to not have to drive on a night we wanted drinks (Rapp’s Barren!). We even caught the farmers market Saturday, which was literally just down the road about 2 minutes walk! Great alternative to a stuffy hotel room if you’re in Mountain Home!
My wife and stay was to attend solemn family matters. This property was a perfect fit for what we needed. Each evening, we would refit ourselves with a cup of tea by the warming fire. The surroundings were tasteful and welcoming. And during some really bad winter storms, the property manager cared enough to contact us to make sure we were OK. This was a first rate property that I highly recommend.
