This is a very cozy, quaint cabin. The interior is a modern take on rustic. It's conveniently located to anything you are looking to do in Mountain City.
We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, cute, and absolutely perfect for our trip. The host was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond—when we realized we needed an extra night that wasn’t originally open, they made it possible for us to extend our stay. Such kindness and flexibility made our experience even better. Highly recommend this property and host!
Very convenient to all things in town and the surrounding attractions. Very clean and nice with great communication from the property manager...we'll be back!
We loved the cabin as it is so charming and cozy! It was located perfectly up on the hill close to everything! We were there for work and are definitely staying there again! Very clean, has everything you need!
It was nice to have the comforts of home: living room, kitchen, laundry facilities, and a private but central location. Hosts were available and responsive when needed.
Super nice and clean cabin. Convenient to all the restaurants and shopping. All of the comforts of home with pretty Mountain Views. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you:)
Cabin was conveniently located in town. We chose this cabin because it was located across the street from the doe mountain atv trails. Cabin was nice and cozy with a lot on amenities provided.
Enjoyed the older home and reading the history of the original owner and in a good location for us, close to everything in town, slight traffic noise did not bother us. We will be coming back.

First time staying in Mountain City. This place is a gem!! All the comforts of home and then some!! 🙂
This was my second stay and I would always come back. The cabin is homey, comfortable and convenient. It is the perfect, relaxing getaway and I am so thankful to be able to bring my dog. I also enjoy watching the wildlife!
We had another great stay! This is close (walking distance) to several restaurants & town. Very clean & comfy (albeit, small) beds. Plenty of room for the dogs to run & play. There is a lot of road noise & a busy Burger King/convenient store next door and the dryer still sounds like it’s ready for takeoff, but the good (by far) exceeds those annoyances!
Couple times a year I need a place to sleep in Mountain City. This is very convenient, a quite place at night, clean, well stocked with essentials, etc. Hosts are very polite and communications are timely. I recommend, and will come back.
Property was as described and priced accordingly. You could hear traffic, however location was very convenient to everything we needed. Beds were somewhat uncomfortable. Nice big TV and WiFi worked just fine. Host information provided was very helpful. We are considering staying a month this Summer.

Owners provided history of the home and is beautifully decorated and clean. Close to everything you need. The owners were also very knowledgeable with resources in the area with the hurricane that came through. I’m glad that they had an opening because I had a reservation at a motel and was canceled and this home was reasonably priced and was in the area that I needed to be. Thank You Christine and Steve for all your help with resources it really helped.
The home was very clean, just as described. The only thing i would change is the water pressure from the kitchen sink. Thank you for sharing your home with my son and I. We had a great weekend!!!
What a lovely place to stay. The unit was very clean with warm heat and good layout. You are above and next to US-421, so there will be traffic noise. We are not use to traffic noise at night, and did not find this location to be an issue. The history of this house is wonderful (read story in guest book), and the location is convenient to all the Mountain City area has to offer. I would not hesitate to book this home in the future.
Centrally located and convenient to the nearby area. It is on the main road so can get noisy at times. Didn’t bother us. The bed is a double so my husband slept on the twin bed. We are used to a Queen bed. Very comfortable mattress. Has most of what you need to cook and prepare meals. We would definitely stay again.
The cabin was cozy and easily accessible. Be aware that the 1 bedroom has a double bed with a very uncomfortable mattress (bring a memory foam if you have back/joint pain). The twin bed is located in the same bedroom and has a more comfortable mattress but is low to the floor. We loved the history of the cabin and the heating system is excellent! Kitchen and living room are spacious. No toaster.
We stayed here for one night to attend the Bristol race which was about an hour ride away.
There were all sorts of different food options nearby, which was very convenient.
The house itself is newly renovated and was extremely comfortable. Air conditioning worked great and kept us comfortable.
Everything about our stay was awesome and the owners had quick response times with any questions I had and were super accommodating!
I would highly recommend staying here and will look forward to doing so again in the future.
