"The motel was underground since it had been part of an opal mine. It was a great experience to stay underground. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast seemed expensive for coffee, juice, toast and cereal at $20 a person."

"Renovated bathroom was nice. Towels were small and thin. The AC blew directly on the bed which is not good for individuals with sinus issues, like us. Parking was a challenge at evening when rooms started filling up. Receptionist was very helpful with helping us determine if road closures were in place for our trip the next day. Museum was very informative. "

"Kitchen equipment is poorly set up, no wine glasses, no bowls for salad or mixing, only 3 drinking glasses for a 5 bed accommodation, no extraction for cooking resulting in smoke alarm activation."

"I rarely leave a review however this property isoutstanding. Beautifully set out, extremely comfortable, lovely a cool, on the edge of town away from any potential chaos but only 5 min drive to everything. Great communication from the owner. Super comfy beds, particularly after 2 weeks in a rooftop tent! My 8 yo son loved the tent bed. My favourite bit was the parents retreat/meditation/prayer room off the master bed. Highest recommendation for this property. Loved it. "
